Strev. has nothing left to prove he should stay home as well, I hope Barriere and Wilson get the majority of the snaps divided equally, I suspect whichever they release will get picked up by another CFL team soon after. I hate when they make up their minds before pre-season games and don't even give QB's a shot in the dark. The poor QB behind Pigrome last year barely got on the field because Collaros and Brown took the majority of snaps.

Maybe the DB Brad Muhammad replaced when the Stamps reacquired him?

Noah Hallett back on the 6 game for the nth time, might be time to give up on this brother, he never panned out.

Pro sports is fully invested in denying the science of brain injuries, wouldn't want the gravy train to fly off the track. There really is no solution to preventing concussions without drastically altering the physical nature of the game. Lawyers are kept busy amping up the protection of the wealthy owners, they need to make sure players sign a detailed waiver before they take the field to keep the cash flowing. -

I want to see Collaros out there wearing a super-sized Guardian! -
Clements or Wilson yes, Cole no, he doesn't have the size, knowledge or the experience to play MLB, he said yesterday in an interview he's just a bigger DB, which is where he played throughout college.

It's simply physics, even when the impact is to the head the brain collides with the impacted side of the skull due to the sudden loss of momentum, bounces off then slams into the otherside of the skull. -
Must be a hangover from the late season injury he suffered last year.

The flying wedge formation was also banned in 1894 because of the number of deaths it caused, pretty amazing they were considering outlawing football over a hundred years ago. Are there any NHL hockey players currently wearing the full faced shields or cages? What are they thinking??? -

Football players would have to inject foam directly into their brain cavity so it doesn't slosh about on contact, adding more protection directly to the outside is putting more lipstick on a pig and does little to increase protection. Airbags work because they dissipate the energy of a collision over a larger area and reduce the acceleration of the body, the second factor being the most important. -
Walters doesn't have 2 nickels left to bring in FA's from the cold, what you see is what you're going to get. Agree Bighill played reasonably well last season and stayed healthy up until the last game, some people are exaggerating his liability. If Kyrie can take on the leadership role, he's the logical successor.

I think Lancaster also qualified under the Naturalized Canadian rule for a time.

They're already behind the 8-ball when they choose football as a career and fail to make an NFL roster, deciding to further limit their options isn't going to help prolong their career.

Watched a great short 6 episode series "A Man in Full" with Jeff Daniels playing a Southern real-estate mogul in financial difficulty, short and sweet and don't have to worry about waiting for season two, it's over in 6.

No doubt, have the ominous feeling sports gaming profits are being funnelled off shore to enrich Russian oligarchs and other nefarious organizations of ill intent. -
Big factor in both being Canadian, not brought up thinking football is their only option or escape and maybe took the free education segment of their scholarship more seriously.

Why would the Als even let him in the door? If they want to be competitive they need to upgrade their roster, not rely on short term fixes like old man Lemon. -

Opinion: a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge. -
Plenty of candidates, but as long as he stays healthy unlikely to happen.

Sure would be nice to have Bighill's future replacement in the building this year getting involved and taking reps. so the progression at MLB is clearly spelled out. Maybe Biggie would accept a lesser role and help convince O'Shea to use the new American/Natl. rules more effectively as well. Ease him towards the door before he signs another contract with unrealistic expectations of playing another 3 years. Same thing for Bryant, get ready just about time to move on.

Could be Kramdi is one of the smarter players on and off the field and O'Shea recognizes that combined with his grittiness and work ethic being similar to the skills that sustained his own playing career. May also be why he sticks with BA year after year instead of replacing him with a flashier, healthier player.
