Now our special teams suck and it seems like MOS isn't helping out Tracey. What gives? Could be "rookie coach" syndrome, overwhelmed with the scope of managing the project as a whole.

What drives me mad is the shot of the Bombers bench after the first Q with players hanging their heads and looking despondent with 3/4 of the game left to play. I would prefer they look either motivated or scared of losing their jobs. They need a coach or some vet. players with the ability to motivate and kick them out of their stupor. If the Bombers have to bring back Casey Creehan solely as head cheerleader and all-around ass kicker I'm all in favour.

Well sure, they're just doing what they were told to do on that particular play-call. That LB wasn't supposed to be there and neither had a clue that he might be their responsibility.

I an beginning to wonder how much of these problems can be attributed to the O-line guru Bob Wyliey. I am not convinced that the O-line problems come down to personnel but moreso play calling and system. How much of that falls into Wylie's lap because they had no answers for what Hamilton was throwing at them today. Bellefuile is the root of the problem... Wylie cannot call a screen or a pitch - teams know that MB has no response to blitzing other than max protect - watch the playcalls, there's almost never an 'out' - RB is either locked down blocking or we've emptied the backfield I was referring more to offencive blocking schemes in general as being faulty. I watched one play were two Bomber receivers setup up across the line from a Ti-Cat LB, they both ignored him, split their routes around him and rewarded him with a direct bee-line to Willy in the backfield for a sack.

Imo the more Marve adapts his play to Marcel's system the more he will resemble Brohm in ineptitude. If the Bombers have to fire Marcel and O'Shea to get Condell on board for next year, it would be well worth it.

What is wrong with TSN setting their mics? This happens every game. Some stupid fan sits close to the mic & we get the pleasure of having to listen to whatever wingnut wants to get noticed. Why have the TSN broadcasts become so bad?? I complained about this to TSN before, but if more people did it would help. I had to listen to screeching from some female the whole first quarter. Kept hoping she would go horse, but being a Sask fan maybe she already is. Sure that wasn't just your wife nagging at you to get off your fat ass and do something?

I think the secondary and the LB's are going to have another good game and hold Collaros in check. Expecting a close game ending in the mid 20's. if the Bomber O has the ball last, I predict a win.

My memory is full of holes but I recall Brock's first two years in Blue playing for Bud Riley as being pretty brutal after taking over from Chuck Ealey. Starting in 1974 it was apparent that he had a cannon for an arm but he was sacked mercilessly and he had no idea of how to read a CFL defence. If ever a coach was rewarded with sticking it out with a rookie QB this was the case, as winning results did not materialize until 1976. It's hard to believe but Bud Riley was fired in 1977 with a record of 10-6 mainly because the Bombers could not progress in the playoffs. How picky they were in days of yore.
