  1. I'm not a die hard MOS hater, but every coach's time comes to an end sometime. Team has steadily declined the last few years. MOS's time might be now.
  2. Not if we promote Younger to head coach.
  3. Watching live I thought the DB was punching that out and now way he was catching it. No replay showed that clearly enough though. I did think it was funny that one of the Sask olineman did the no catch hand signal for a second before the refs ruled TD.
  4. Yup. If they had got one first down they win.
  5. Other than him grabbing his hammy one time, did he look injured? I didn't even notice.
  6. "I’ll admit I thought first about O’Shea when the Dinwiddie news broke, but the more I thought about it the less I thought it was a good fit. Given the small-world nature of the CFL, the Argos are certainly going to inquire and should know his interest soon. I don’t see O’Shea in Toronto being a good fit for several reasons, the biggest being O’Shea doesn’t seem to do well with change. There are too many variables for him to manage with a new organization, even if he is familiar with the team. O’Shea finally got the Bombers to the top of the three-down mountain after some lean years. Winnipeg’s ascension, however, coincided with the arrival of quarterback Zach Collaros — a trade O’Shea didn’t approve before it was made. I’m not sure O’Shea would be able to do the same for the Argos, mainly because they don’t share his strong desire for continuity, constantly overhauling the roster each year. I couldn’t think of anything more anti-O’Shea, and I don’t see the Argos ownership caring about a culture change." https://www.winnipegfreepress.com/breakingnews/2025/11/05/coaching-dominoes-begin-to-fall
  7. I'm not 100% opposed to OSH returning if he can show that he can make changes needed. If he can't recognize that Hogan was a mistake and wants to keep continuity there, then I think OSH should be shown the door. Hamilton's column in the Freep today talked about why he didn't think OSH would go to Toronto. Basically saying that OSH wouldn't want to be in an environment where he had to make lots of changes and couldn't keep with continuity. Good description of OSH but also good reasons why we need to move on here.
  8. Dinwiddie is a hell of a coach. As a GM, who knows? The talent pipeline coming in to Ott isn't anywhere near what it was in TO. How he does will depend a lot on which of the scouting team comes with him.
  9. To me it would be weird if any of the coordinators had contracts longer than the head coach but what do I know
  10. Hogan contract could very well be expiring and that's the end of that.
  11. Curious what you're basing him wanting Hogan back on
  12. Not to mention the two best young QBs in the league going head to head.
  13. Yup. I would expect that he was on a one year deal to match what was left of OSHs. Hopefully that makes it more likely we just say thanks but he's not welcome back.
  14. Yup. No impact players on the DL or LB other than the occasional Willie knockdown and a few flashes from Woodbey. No reason for Kyrie to be brought back.
  15. I don't understand it at all. All indications were that Griffin was a guy they loved too.
  16. I assume if Demski can't go, they add Peterson back on. Chris-Ike would be the back up plan for Brady. Razor thin depth on O if you can even call it depth Brutal that neither of the american DEs that looked great last week get a chance. Don't know why we need Ayers and Lawson on the roster at all as back ups really.
  17. I agree would be great if we can. Issue isn’t the number of starters but getting another American on the roster. Don’t know about it at the expense of the dline. Griffin might be health too, would be nice to get him back on D
  18. Lawson and Clercius aren’t even on the report?
  19. Riders got hosed by the early whistle from the refs there. Last time we had to go to Calgary and then Sask in the playoffs it worked out ok.
  20. I hear you but it’s not like they been sitting on the PR all season. They were pretty recent adds
  21. Like the look of the D actually. Hope the young DEs show well and we can see Shay and Smith get some reps. Resting who they did makes sense for the most part. Either young guy who is our only hope to win in the playoffs (Vaval, BO, Pokey) or old guys that could use a rest (Zach, Bryant, Willie and Vaughters). I do wonder if they aren't happy with Person's play and are auditioning the other young DEs.
  22. Got to keep in mind which season you're talking about. They were 5-12-1 last year and 6-12 the year before. Of course they were willing to make changes, only way Dave could keep his job after two terrible seasons.
