as would I....I could see him as a guy who could start immediately and if it allows us to go 3 Nationals on Oline with youth like Wallace and Vibert as the backups....both young...and still young Eli ...we are set up nicely....even nicer if Manu strolls into camp next yr too

DT we need to focus on really....and Receiver.....If we trade up to nab Vaccaro...even better really because 3 to 4 legit Canadian Olineman makes CFL roster that much better if it allows you to go heavy import on dline and or receiver...Just does Our National dline depth save for Lawson is putrid...Even with the expunging of our weakest piece it's still garbage. Bailey the global is our next best non American...we need serious upgrades there. Also I so dont want us to go 3 national receivers...we just dont have the horses...As it stands Clercius/Cobb and maybe a under radar Draftee this yr are adequate backups to Demski and Neild but seeing as we dont know how to utilize Clercius (Maybe Condell will fix that) starting him or god help us Corcoran, who in my opinion is the least worthy National receiver in the league basically just gives us a 5th guy who really will have no real impact whatsoever and not garner much attention...Now a guy like Banks who has NFL metrics slathered all over him on the outside would garner a big amount of attention and open things up for our top 3 guys....He is not the typical new import who ahs great film and lotsa accolades...he's a victim of his past and NFL moving on from guys who came into draft yr with past issues....and the issues really were nothing anyway. The fact he even up here is shocking to be honest...but a huge get for us. If allowed he could have Chris Mathews rookie vibes all over him but better, as he is already more polished and has a better all around game If we choose to go 3 nationals..Just cause it makes Osh feel all warm and snug in his tighty whites and let a guy like that walk...or any other import who impresses and would benefit from a yr of learning the CFL....then thats just sad Safety too is a position we should go Canadian at..We have the depth there with Kramdi (as to where that where he should be)..Kelly....Hallett in areal pinch and there are some intriguing draft guys this yr who could push to be an immediate backup this yr Drafting smart and drafting guys with good defensive film and NOT just ST ability can set you up nicely with backup depth whop can come in due to injury/rotation and have next to zero drop in abilty...we have soooo gotten away from that with these plugs that we think are so great on teams Plugging in a Korny and or Schmeck in lieu of Lawson due to injury or for rotation to maintain ratio is a serious downgrade and majority of time when we use that...and also had Thomas out there in past yrs were the plays we generally get gouged

Yeah...hopeful of a good draft...but also prepared to be disappointed too....and hear all the "intangible" reasons as for why we did what we did...almost wish they could lock Osh up in a closet for a day prior and day of draft to be honest

O'd be shocked if of those picks we don't go 3 lineman in first 4 picks..be it 2 on D...or 2 on O...The easiest and most likely to make more immediate impacts on the roster via rotation or actually starting...And if we hit the jackpot and get Manu up here..Eli pans out...which I dont doubt he will...Wallace takes that next step and Vibert pushes to be in lineup...We may just find ourselves with a glut of Oline guys again and be in a real good position again like 2019 to 2022...with guys all in prime and relatively young as lineman...and depending on who we get via the draft....a 2027 line with Broxton...Wallace...Eli...Say either Vibert (or a 2026 draft class guy) and Manu would be a real good brawling line who would definitely control the l.o.s like our 2 cup days and be a bonus for the defense with that extra import being able to take unlimited reps on defense... This is gonna be a key draft for us moving onto 2027 and if Smith and Shay also get the chance to step forward and show they belong...which also I doubt they will disappoint....we could really be in a nice spot ratiowise and able to do some interesting things

Yeah this is an interesting case for sure. I hope we maintain his neg rights intil he either shows up...or makes it 100% apparent the CFL is not and will not be on his radar Humble pie can be a huge accelerator for guy to switch gears and actually improve his standing, and just based on how/what a QB with his kind of skillset can do up in Canada with the right grooming....could really turn him into something that could have success up here for yr....All depends on whats between his ears and if he is willing to make that decision and use the CFL as a long term career thing. There have been a lot of QB's over the decades who have tuned his similar attributes into really good careers As for NFL...never gonna happen...mini camp invites I doubt turn into anything tangible and a yr of that...and staggering around in the wilderness for a giy who if he wants to actually play...I bet translates to a venture up North

My opinion...i think we will have the top..if not top 2 defence in league and and strong ST's and will be our identity..we have the horses and pieces there to be an active attack defense...and the true success hinges on 2 things...What ZC are we gonna see..legit OC..Some legit top 3 starter receivers...BO..and a oline light yrs better than last yr...all the excuses have been purged so if he is not getting it done we need a inseason transition and not sure if that's capable The other thing that is key is if Osh handcuffs us again with his questionable rostering and decisions All I can currently see where he could eff things up is the dumb decision to go 3 national receivers and have Corcoran in spot 3

Yeah at worst this will be final shot/season down there to stick....And if no real legit feelers if/when he gets released either in TC and after camp....and no PR opp....could be a late season guy we see....or in camp for 2027...His injury issues and non-ability to develop hurt him down there...but good for us He'd be a huge addition

NIL deals or not.....guys still need income and if they want income from playing...well the NFL and then the CFL are the options...And the guys who made/make huge NIL money are guys who really in all reality were likely never gonna make their way here anyway The odd one may, but it's not gonna affect player recruitment for most part. Can only be in school for so long...then you have to enter the real world

as mentioned the 8th guy can be a nationalized American and we have multiple options as to who to use there I also agree I'd be shocked if Wallace/Eli/Neuf are not the 3 starter on the oline...and it serves us much better roster wise if we do that. On defense then we only have to have 1 Canadian on the field on any given play and we have so many nice moveable pieces on defense who are imports we could really have a crazy good defense...and thats without seeing who we have brought in who are new. And I know a lot here think Kramdi is all that and then some but he is probably looking at our roster the 4th best option we could put at SAM....I dont care how smart they say he is...and that he knows all the positions....doesn't make him default good/the best...Stick him at safety and let him focus his smarts in one spot and be the best safety he could be...even that being said he isn't even the best option for there as well. He's a nice piece you can rotate in and around the defence and in situational spots and is a bonus to have on the roster....but he is not the best secondary player in our roster...not even close Unless some rookie draft pick or second yr guy really blows the competition away in camp Our starting 7 true Nationals should be Demski...Bo...Neild..Eli..Neuf..Wallace and Lawson on defence as our declared starting Canadians....and pick one of whoever you want as the 8th nationalized one Starting any more than that and giving lionshare of reps...just cause is pointless and doesn't make us better...Use your 7 best and sub accordingly....and start your best 17 imports, and again sub accordingly....You can if you have quality starter type Canadian back-ups sub in then for an import on some sets/schemes and or to spell off Lawson...Thats where kramdi is key/essential and hopefully where Smith..Shay..Bailey get work too And not to pile on him...but look at his stats as a starter....his take aways...tackles...ff's...etc....Is that production worthy of his pay and his reps?....With all the reps he gets and the spot he plays...where the SAM is , or should be involved in a heck of a lot of plays during a game...his stats pale in comparison to pretty much every other SAM in the league...but he is paid the most...make that make sense to me

Clercius actually has good hands to be honest. He isnt straight line fast but more than adequate speedwise...just not twitchy fast but if we use him the rightway he doesnt need to be a fast twitch kinda guy...We have failed in utilizing hi,....and MCI for that matter as well. I think he would be better served as an inside guy as well as he is hard to take down when he has the ball and has shown he can run thru and over guys getting those gritty dirty yards. Also it's hard to truly gauge a guy when not used much, and when you do use him it's not in the best way for the player

but Cobb is a better route runner....faster....can run jet....and return....Corcoran can..........lol....Osh needs to set aside his personal infatuations for the better good of the team....has had 1 to 2 of these kind of guys at minimum pretty much every yr....and he was putrid in the role of blocker last yr...MCI should have been doing that role and would have been an actual threat if he got he ball....and would have worked in his overall development as well. Hopefully we utilize him this yr and make him feel like part of the actual offense o I bet he bolts after this yr and becomes a nice player elsewhere on a team that utilizes his 6'2" 225+ pound frame and his 4.4/4.5 speed

totally true....And Allen on defence further adds to that....They also lost a high contributing Global too which hurts....Be interesting on how they re-do that ratio there yeah his measurables were garbage for a receiver...well....bottom tier I guess....and he didnt seem too enthused to use any physicality in the blocking game either.... Speaking of Corcoran, he doesnt offer a lot really...even on teams and if we draft one of the intriguing upside receivers in the draft, and with Demski..Neild and Clercius, I just dont see a spot on roster for him....and If we dress him in addition to all 3..thats a poor decision. I cant see us going 3 national receivers either for ratio...ZC needs all the top end talent we can field and if 4 nationals, one of them being Corcoran is the best next 4 guys we scrounged up behind White..Demski..and Wilson then thats an epic recruitment fail...or a really poor coaching decision...again

Yeah sex pest was more conversation/harassment centered...Ajou was more of an actual physical unwanted touching thing was it not?....so yeah only a fool would challenge his suspension.....Kelly did everything kinda right and caused no issues with it....and being a high profile player and key player position wise I guess good on him and the Argo org for doing all the necessary things..Ajou on other hand is a fart in the wind kinda player and his being on a roster...or off one is negligeable and no team would be better off...or worse for wear for it with him in regards to their roster...he's a big ol nothing burger

Yeah...and he finally has put himself in the right environment to make said strides. Not that I think he will get another NFL opportunity anytime soon...if ever really, but if he was to maybe get a sniff it will be from being up here and showing he belongs on a pro field and can be successful. That being said he prob won't show any of that potential for at least 2 yrs and even then woukd be pushing 27 and still considered as a project down there and will have aged out. No team will invest money and time..especially in a Canadian College kid who if he ever shows starter or number 2 talent when that player will be pushing 30..not gonna happen His top end ceiling this yr likely is a number 3 guy running short yardage and accumulated tds doing so..but we have seen u can get that with any big body behind center..not always even a qb...that in itself won't get you a sniff...

He looks the part...passed they "eye test" curious tho as why nobody kept him around for at least a yr to develop tho...guess we will see first hand in a month...maybe he doesn't have the aptitude or process ability at pro level...maybe back to the game he knows we reap the rewards...I pulling for him but with very tempered view

Finally he made the right decision..he should have known and sucked it up after his 6 workouts after the Packers it wasn't in cards right now. History of players of his football pedigree never will succeed at qb down there...its a fact He has a lot to prove and learn and he finally will have the environment now to do it...now let's see what he does with it. Sure he looks the part...but so do a lot of players but they just can't make the jump. Lighting up Canadian college kids is a far cry from transferring it in pros..so the sooner he got here to try..the better his longterm football life will be Also I couldn't care less about people's boner about a Canadian qb..its irrelevant as the qb is just 1 of 24 starters...as a coach I want the 22...or 24 best available to me regardless of where they came from. To force a Canadian one...and 99 percent of time a lesser talent into one the more important spots to satisfy some stupid narrative...is well stupid...I could care less if he was a shot on a rock hatched by the sun...if hes the best then he plays

we must have quite he rainy day fund accumulated now....and imagine what it could be if not for the 2 covid yrs Proof positive that if you put in the leg work, and do things right a franchise can be profitable....Hopefully other squads take note and reach out to try and replicate...tho it's also not rocket science either....you just need the right people in charge and ability to listen to and get a sense of your fan base

Even still Stegall was in the NFL for a bit...so was deemed good enough there for a bit Every new player really comes up as a nobody for the most part...some with shining college stats...some with rather plain and unassuming stats...it's all about the opportunity present when they get here, and a coaching staffs ability to see it...or see something in a player and squeeze the most out of them and get them in a position to succedd....if you have talent and ability....teams will see it Interesting in regards to Bruce he came up here basically with experience in college as mainly a RB and not a receiver but our staff at the time saw in him the talent and gave him the chance at receiver as there was no chance in him unseating Roberts, and we also had Blount and Mills ....and that turned out pretty well for us. You don't let high ability talent walk out the door just cause it doesn't fit your ratio or established stars in prime are in the way....good evaluators will find a way...we have a hard time doing that here of late
