yup...D was solid if not spectacular and got it done when needed....6 points total second half.....stopped that 3rd and 1...got ball back with no points scored on them at end to cement the win...they will only get better as they are....and lights out again when BA and Jeffcoat are back

Brady definitely wasnt running in the style he did last yr...looked like he trying to do too much and over thinking and not hitting line like he normally does....Johnny never got a chance with 3 carries....I'm sure that will be fixed up week 2 and onward.

They played ok...for a first game I saw no red flags...the run game play calling tho lacked a lot...and was a big reason we seemed ineffective...and what was the lack of Demski in the whole scheme of things...both sides of ball seemed like we were still running preseason offence/defense...

Watching games from last yr tho...we pressed more and didn't constantly give 10..12 yd cushions...be interesting to see if we throw a diff scheme at Lapo Friday and cause them big issues Agreed....think that experiment is done...or hope it is. We have options to slot in there

I not sure why we were also playing so far off the line and recievers....maybe Hall didn't wanna show anything first game and didn't expect OTtawa to pose much a threat? I dunno but was very vanilla and passive schemes

Be interesting after a couple weeks of play as to where all teams sit...Are the Elks that bad that it made BC look like world beaters? ....also are the cats really regressed as they looked like crap...Riders have a good linbacking group..but the back end is suspect...and that oline isn't gonna control LOS in many games...and Faj is not a great QB...mist his deeper throws were off the mark...just like last 3 yrs and took great catches by recievers to make em...that's a recipe to get them hurt as well as they were exposd for huge hits and it gonna bite em in the ass sooner or later....and zero run game ...ours was no better but we know our 2 guys can get it done at least as they have shown it ..and we have the best oline Cgy is gonna be tough I think....and if BLM is out prob beat thing for them...they have weapons...and their defense is more than capable....west gonna be interesting for sure

Yeah Lawlwer is a one yr deal..and yeah he didn't look happy on sidelines and players were trying to console him. He is in a wayy diff culture and environment there... interesting to see how it affects his play and effort...he didn't seem to engaged in downfield blocking like he was here...

From what I saw...the safety was always moving up and looking for the big hit on run support...or shorter crossers..and was leaving the deep middle and over top supper wide open...and I know our halbacks and corners were playing with that support supposed to be there...and that's from watching the actual field and positioning not from TV...rookie issues and communication problems obviously..I sure we see it fixed or a change this week ..we started 8 Canadians so technically we could go import at safety

Oh for sure...but plan it for an hour prior to 9 pm central time....good way to lose veiwership when it's doesn't start till 1030 from tbay and east...I do like the way tho BC is going about things...
