Wheeler still hanging in the top ten of league scoring... with a 8.6% shooting percentage - by far the worst of any of the top skaters... If he had even 11-12%, he'd probably be tied for the scoring race lead...

For purely selfish reasons, I want this... First round - Minnesota-Jets - least travel Second round - San Jose-Jets - just to see Buff open-ice destroy Kane Third round - Vegas - because its a short flight for me! Finals - Boston-Jets - Wheeler's revenge...

Either way, one of Dressler or Flanders will be used a lot less... which makes cutting one of them a higher probablity given their $$

50 vs 51.2 - this is really no difference... especially when you consider Chiarot has twice as many points and Chiarot's PDO is marginally better Basically, I'm saying their fancy stats are very similar this year - the difference I see is that Chiarot shoots more and plays a heavier game... this is important in the playoffs My ultimate third pairing would be Myers-Enstrom, I think they work well together

But we all see him get washed out and manhandled in the corners... I think two big bruising D are better for the playoffs... that is if trouba is back...

It does seem like OL are sticking with their team longer and getting playing time earlier than other positions...

Roslo has the same production as tanev in half the games... he still busts his ass every game tanev is great fourth line shot blocker and chip n chaser but he doesn’t generate chances Just no reason not to go back to Copp Lowry Armia - this was a dominant checking line

@saraorlesky Andrew Copp will continue to centre the 3rd line tonight with Mathieu Perreault and Bryan Little on the wings. Adam Lowry will centre 4th line with Brandon Tanev and Joel Armia. Maurice goes with Tanev over Roslovic... wouldn't be the Jets without a head scratcher roster decision Copp-Lowry-Armia is such an awesome line... same with Perrault-Little-Roslo... why mess with it Still its nice that this is the biggest problem right now...

I wouldn’t say I’m talking them up... it’s just a fact that the depth guys in Calgary have played games and most of our guys haven’t... im more comparing this year’s bombers to last year’s bomber depth... I like the moves but we haven’t really replaced a weatherman/corney/Thomas NI position that and we all know couture will be starting by game five and spooner will be our 6th OL

I'd love to see Chiarot-Buff pairing through the playoffs regardless of injuries... much better match than Enstrom imo

Muamba vs Coates as our 7th NI - seems like that's worth $200k to me Not sure I agree with WAY more issues in Calgary - their three NI receivers all look pretty good to me as well as Mrabure/Wiggan/Colling to cover the 7th NI - would also suspect Quinn Smith goes back to DL - plus you add Lavertu and Grozman to the OL depth Sounding like we're going to lose out on Muamba over $20-30k (?) - doesn't make a ton of sense to me... There IS depth on this team but we just have a lot of unknowns as our national depth - even LaFrance and Demski are unknowns, I think they will exceed expectations but there's actually not much proof for this view...

That is bad news - kulikov played well for much of this season, really liked the Myers-kulikov pairing would like to see buff-Chiarot and Myers-morrow/enstrom

Right now our 7th cdn appears to be coates or lafrance unless corney and ekakitie are rotating... but ekakitie is a huge question mark for me our NI depth actually seems razor thin this year - lots of it based on potential...

Why cut Wild? He's injury prone but if he's platooning with JSK and Muamba, he probably lasts the season... For the record, I have no problem with Wild-JSK-Leggett but you have a huge question mark as to how many games Wild will last... then we're back to square one Then when (not if) Neufeld goes down, you have another NI challenge - hopefully Couture is ready to step in - I think he is... but who knows Anyone saying that Muamba is not worth $200k is just sour grapes because we think we won't sign him...
