  1. but that's the problem! the qb doesn't need time the receivers are that open! I mean just look at that first big play the stamps made, that receiver was never covered by anyone. Both of the tds the receivers were never covered either, the dbs were beaten clean the whole way. The zone they were playing gave all kinds of underneath room and then they missed tackles coming up to make the stop. There was no blanketing going on, just a hell of a lot of sloppy and downright blown coverages backed up with horrendous tackling.

Exactly, they are just downright playing bad, not sure schemes matter at this point as the actual talent level and brain level on the field somes atrocious.

  2. Mitchell is a 3rd string qb by circumstances only. He won't be a third stringer for long. Drew Tate may be available. Maybe the Bombers make a trade???

    LOL

Do you realize he's not even 10% as good as we just made him look, defense was so bad it didn't matter who was at QB for Calgary. Wide open guys everywhere, linebackers couldn't tackle, C. Muamba always out of position, Jovon Johnson is absolutely the most useless player in the CFL right now, yet he continues to start. Even Bryant turner was pathetic today, maybe he came back too early from his injury.

  3. Goltz moved the ball at times and the offence looked more effective with him behind center.

But we still suck on so many levels!

Is it the GM and the players he has assembled? Is it the coaches he has hired? Is it the play calling or lack of executing?

Not sure the club can expect us fans to be willing to suffer through the 4th season of a rebuild without show much hopemformturning it around.

My belief is that there is no cfl ofensive experience from the oc to the Hc to the lack of qb coaches and a weak online or receivers not being able to get open.

I don't think I can handle another losing season where we just suck.. 5 years after firing berry and rebuilding..

Obviously it's a clueless GM and HC.

  4. Edwards was pretty bad overall, trying to hard to draw penalties not trying hard enough to run his routes and finish them. Heck one of Goltz passes was at his knees and he could easily caught it but chose to bat it down because he was gonna get nailed. Sad as it is he should start taking notes from Kohlert and Etienne or he'll be out of a job fast.

  5. 38:15-21:45. You can fault both sides for that.

No you can't, the defense looked like a bunch of children out there against Calgary's offense. It's completely freaking pathetic to let a 3rd string QB put up 38:15 in time of possession with 85% passing, 376 yards, 3TDS and over 100 yards rushing. That's horrendous, dispecable and astonishing. THis has to be flat out the worst 2 game performance by a Bomber defense ever. You take all that into account and then you have this idiot mr. perfect some how using that attack the offense. Just freaking ********.

The offense gets absolutely no blame for this loss.

  6. Edmonton got screwed.

Esks didn't waste time, they were expecting a review from the command centre, which they shoudl of been fully entitled to automatically. Damn shame the meat heads in TO screwed another game up.

That punt call was atrocious too.

  7. He never should of been hired in the first place, hes' clearly in way over his head. I don't care if we fire him or not though because I doubt the clowns above him would take the time to recruit somebody who actually deserves the spot. We already got this bozo signed for 3 years, may as well wait it out and see how fast he can learn the things he should already know.

  8. Even if not injured, guys like Edwards are getting worse and worse, it's to the point where Etienne is looking just as good or better than him out there. He's at the very least playign with more grit then Edwards has the last year or so and seems to be able to take a hit better as well.

  9. I could not see the same thing until I re-watched it on the PVR.

Just have to learn what to look for, you'll get better with practice.

JBR has what I was saying nailed down though, and there was many times he could of got well over 2-4 yards.

ISO is still off, most of the time if he did cut in, the yards were there.
