  1. Way too much time left. Team is way too excited when it feels like they'll blow it
  2. Offense has and still sucks. Doesn't matter who is at QB although Collaros isn't helping, Hogan is costing us big time.
  3. Why is the TSN camera seemingly on the roof of the stadium?
  4. I am convinced the ball moved after it hit the turf
  5. Ran over the DB, but also that ball pushed off the turf?
  6. Hogan's calls to end this game are going to give me nightmares. Dude had an easy finish to the game until he decided to be aggressive all of a sudden. Gonna need time to get over that. At least it didn't cost them.
  7. Could have just gone up 9 if they stalled, turnover was the one thing you couldn't afford
  8. That's just a flat out game losing play call and game losing throw.
  9. Really leaving the DBs to play man coverage is killing us
  10. They are making changes and that is what everyone wanted Offense looks really weak after the injuries and changes but sure seems like they'll go with a strong ground game and aren't being shy about it.
  11. Strev looks bad but both coordinators really are struggling. Offense just has nothing right now for intermediate passing. Defense with no pressure or coverage at all.
  12. Just getting smacked tonight. No other way to put it.
  13. Just to point out, there are the same folks over and over pointing out how Osh won't move on from anyone. This is not actually correct. Even just this past year we moved on from three major parts of the defense - Bighill, Alexander and Ford. The idea that they don't get rid of aging vets when they did not re-sign two guys who helped transform and start this era of success is completely overlooked. You can argue he didn't get rid of the right guys or enough players, and that's fine. But I laugh at the idea that Osh is too loyal to move on from guys like Jake Thomas when he's letting go of Adam Bighill. The reason Thomas is on the team, for instance, is that Osh views his performance differently than say someone else here. And that's fine! You can criticize him for that if you are unhappy with literally any player that is getting playing time. Looping back every discussion to the same issue (as if it's always just one thing) merely subtracts from the football discussion on the board.
  14. Collaros with a bit of that old magic on that run. I really think it's simple, Collaros with good protection is still a threat (albeit more up and down than before). Without protection he is just garbage.
  15. Can't wait for football. Really curious to see if Strev can be a passer or if they just keep him running nonstop.
  16. It seems odd to me that Calgary benefits now by getting extra picks (last ones in the first two rounds) due to BC forfeiting. Am I understanding that right?
  17. I too just want to announce that I have absolutely extreme negative emotion about this OC hire, and I am basing it off the tiny percentage of his visible work that I am familiar with. In all seriousness I would have hired Jackson and am happy to have him as QBC. Hogan has been around and worked his way up. Anyone pretending to know exactly how it will work out, positive or negative, is hilarious.
  18. It should be noted that when hiring anyone for a promotion it's extremely hard to predict how they'll do. I wouldn't be overly excited with an internal promotion but can see why they'd do it.
  19. I like Jarious Jackson, he has run some solid offenses. People will hate it but Osh for sure will consider LaPo. Would certainly give us the run oriented offense some crave. I'm not a huge fan of run offenses but LaPo would be alright with this personnel group.
  20. Well our offseason just got a whole lot more interesting. I am happy for Buck and hope he does well, except against us. He is at least going to a spot with a QB and a decent roster. Gives him a chance for early success.
  21. You can absolutely criticize him. I am absolutely on this site to talk football about our favourite team, both the good and bad. What I take exception with is the sheer amount of comments and hate one player on an excellent defense generates.
  22. This comment is not necessarily directed exactly at you so please don't take it personally, but man I'm so sick and tired of hearing people complain about Jake Thomas. He was one member of either the best or second best defense in the league this year. A defense that was consistently good or great. A defense that played really well in the Cup game to give us a chance. He is old and definitely not as good as he used to. Maybe they'll move on from him this year. But I think some people have been stuck on Thomas for well over a year now.
  23. Change happens literally every year. Look at the Bombers roster this year compared to last and you'll obviously see some turnover even in the starting lineups. They may not be the exact change someone on the internet wanted, but the idea that we are running the exact same roster every time would seem to be a bit off base. Also, logically good teams would want and seem to have less turnover than bad teams, because they're winning. It's days after the completion of the season. They are not going to just announce that they're not retaining a whole bunch of guys just for the heck of it. Some will be signed, some will not, but all of that will be sorted out starting in February free agency.
  24. Congrats to Toronto. They absolutely played well today. Dinwiddie maxed out that offense really well against our defense. Deserved to win it. Tip of the cap to the home team. What we accomplished was still an accomplishment. A lot of fun football and great times. Still the best era to be a Bomber fan in my entire life.
