  1. WINNIPEG SURGING This week, the Bombers head to Edmonton looking to improve to 6-1 on the season – a feat they have not achieved since 2011 when they started the season 7-1 and reached the Grey Cup. Prior to that, they reached the mark in 1984 when they won the Grey Cup. This season, Winnipeg has scored the most points (136) and allowed the fewest points (76) for a +60-point differential. Winnipeg leads the league in several key categories so far this season: Points allowed (12.7 per game) Touchdowns scored (16) Touchdowns allowed (6) Turnover ratio (+12) 2-and-outs forced (32) Turnovers forced (17) 30+ yard completions (12) Lowest passing efficiently (73.7) 12.7 points allowed per game is the fewest since 1966 (Ottawa with 12.6). Winnipeg’s team record was set in 1958 (11.4) during a season in which they finished 13-3. In the fourth quarter this year, the Bombers have allowed a total of three points. Bombers receiver Kenny Lawler leads the league with 15-second down-conversion receptions, accounting for 47 per cent of his catches. Zach Collaros is tied for the league-lead with nine touchdown passes. Mike Miller has had multiple special teams tackles in each game this year and stands at a total of 15 to lead the league. Jackson Jeffcoat is tied for the league lead with five sacks and leads the league with four forced fumbles. https://www.cfl.ca/2021/09/16/cfl-ca-game-notes-look-week-7-4/
  2. same here. hope no Bombers coaches, players or personnel gets the virus on this trip to Alberta.
  3. Yup forgot about him.
  4. With Roosevelt and McKnight still waiting for their chance to get (back) to the lineup, I think Meredith will never had a chance to be added to the PR again.
  5. Per CFL.ca transaction page, looks like Antigha is coming out of the lineup in favor of Mourtada.
  6. “Would we have beat them (Bombers) straight up? I don’t even know, but I don’t think so. That’s just a good football team and the message to the guys was learn from what we did. We gotta get a little smarter. That was one thing I told our team. Our football IQ has to increase.” - Craig Dickenson Truth be told, some RF posters are not happy with CD right now. 😂
  7. Assuming DT Stove is back and K Mourtada comes in. DT Walker and LB Brown comes out for them. Noah Hallett will probably back too probably Dheilly comes out for him. If Wilson is good to go too, who comes out, Rocquemore?
  8. Leo's getting all the breaks. Won against Cgy with rookie QB. Won 2 against the RedBlacks.
  9. We broke Wilder Jr. few years back when he was still with the Argos. We can do it again. It may be a trap game but I have confidence that O'Shea and the locker room leaders will not be treating this game (or any game) lightly.
  10. OK. That's why I'm asking if he can punt. I don't see any highlights of him punting.
  11. Of course he will lead at this point, since we played 1 more game compared to all teams except Cgy. But you don't want your team leading in punts, right? (because that means you are not scoring). Kickoff for sure. The new kicker is an American and he will be using one of the DI spot, which means we need to sit one backup American (maybe one of American LB) If Mourtada can do all kicking duties (ala Medlock) that would be better use of that DI spot since we can sit Legghio and add another Canadian backup somewhere.
  12. Not being involved with the O with the Bombers left a bad taste in his mouth. Leos' definitely giving it to him that opportunity now.
  13. Does he do place-kicking only or can he punt as well?
  14. That's if Fajardo can play. If not, Argos D should have no problem with Harker.
  15. He's 6'9" of a monster. Imagine an all-American starting DL of Jefferson-Oakman-Stove-Jeffcoat. That's gonna be bloody scary.
  16. Hoping he wont see Oakman fits his style of D. I would love to have that guy playing with our Jeffs. 🤤
  17. Chris Jones will ride this DC gig for the rest of this season but will either shoot for the RedBlack's GM/HC in expense of Desjardins/Lapolice or Pinball stepping down as Argos' GM firing Dinwiddie as HC then declares Jones as GM/HC. I think the latter is more likely.
  18. This is Chris Jones declaring himself available for RedBlack's GM/HC gig. Poor Glen Young.
  19. Lots of outcry on RF re Harris staying in the game. Lol.
  20. I think this will be the start of Riders slide especially if Fajardo will be out for a while.
