  1. The team has some good prospects that seem to be or may pan out like Muamba, Etienne (hard to believe I can now say that without getting blasted LOL), I still think Goltz has potential, he needs some time and a CFL OC would help. The problem is that Mack refuses to bring in vets that are released while other teams have no problem doing so. I think that would help in some cases. You can't win with rookies, no matter how good they are and that seems to be the Mack way. The same can be said for FA. He doesn't see any value in it. It would seem Mack's growing loss column in his overall record as GM would suggest his way is not getting it done. Of course coaching seems overwhelmed for the most part as well so that just exacerbates things ... it's just a sad time to be a Bomber fan right now, come to think of it it's been that way for the past few years :(

  2. I may be (am) biased but I love what I saw from Goltz. He moved the ball and was more poised than I ever remember him being. In any event, he at least proved that even on a day when PIerce was better than usual (lol) Goltz is certainly no worse an option. This was an ugly, ugly game but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I believe you're right, once we get through this Buck stage ...

  3. Perhaps he earned his shot... although the Argo D was playing pretty vanilla out there since the game was already won so Goltz stats may have been padded.   I'm fed up with the offensive play calling by Crowton and with Pierce... can't get much worse.

Goltz has the tools.. does Winnipeg have the patience to develop him?

Do they have the offence/coordinator to showcase what he can do is an even more important question?

  4. Just gonna say it's very difficult for Cameron to walk in his father's footsteps just because of who he is, how long he played for the Bombers & what he accomplished. He probably puts too much pressure on himself as a punter. Hopefully, he can just go out there on the practice field, relax & punt the snot out of the football. I used to punt...  If he justs works on his fundmentals with every punt & tries not to kill the football then he should be fine. It's probably 75% mental right now with the guy...

Yep, his first pro camp and with the team his dad was a legend with. Makes sense he'd be nervous at times. I think the kid will turn it around.
