I could have sworn they did that last year.... some kinda "no actual seat, but for $20 you can come in and watch from the concourse" thing........am I totally dreaming that?

the thing about last year, too, is that while our D was incredible, other teams regressed as well (I think, anyhow) and we REALLY benefitted by having so many veterans returning that we could hit the ground running. Pretty much every other team had more new players that took awhile to get going. From Day 1, we were a veteran lot and that made a HUGE difference.

here's the thing: Each generation is better than the last, because of improvements to health and training...... and today's athletes would dominate previous ones.

Yeah, I asked my 70 year old uncle, who is a rabid Bombers fan, about the '21 D vs the legendary 80s Bombers D, and he said this is better. They've never had a front 7 at the same level as the one from last year...

I would love nothing more than for all the bandwagon fans over there (most of them) fall off hard. 2007 was disgusting because of how many bandwagoners jumped on board with them. Love to see their ranks get thinned out but good.

After years of watching big "prototypical" QBs come through and flame out bad, consider me extremely skeptical. When Corny proves he can think the game properly, then I'll buy in. He was the one that Elizondo loved from XFL or wherever, right? He didn't do anything for me last year...

re: OL weights..... I'm not sure if it's still a thing, but the Bombers used to have rules about how much the OL were allowed to weigh. Yoshi has spoken about how it saved his career, because they have to stay at a certain size, and weigh in regularly. Again, not sure if it's STILL the case, but it was....

Don't be ridiculous. Harris was great with the Lions and was legendary with us. He is the best NI RB in CFL history, without question. He's up there with Pringle and Reed as among the best ever, period. In 20 years, people will be talking about him in the same breath as those other guys.

So for those that were there last night: Was it louder than the WF last December? If so, that is insane...

Kicker is fine, but the run game is a total mess. I don't know enough to know enough, whether it's the OL, the RBs, the OC or what.... But it's a mess.
