  1. as Booch has mentioned a few times, Stan The Boy Bryant is the last one to sign, usually. He'll wait and let everyone else get what they need/deserve, and then he'll take whatever in the end. He's not concerned about a massive raise or anything. Knows the team will take care of him.
  2. awesome. From injury plagued to key cog in the best OL in the league....
  3. I wonder if they had to pay people to show up to that..... it wouldn't surprise me. I have a hard time believing that many people actually care about the Argos out there. **** that franchise and anyone who isn't us.
  4. KW in coverage is truly spectacular. I don't know many LBs that are as good in man coverage as KW is.....
  5. One thing they've worked out really well, is the line to the pissers. No matter how long the line is, it moves fast. I've never had to wait very long, and that's a testament to the engineering of the place.
  6. the very first time I was ever at IGF, the jammed concourses was the first thing I noticed. Now, after nearly a decade, it seems fine to me. Our tickets this year were between 226-230, depending on the game, so we spent a lot of time up in that area, and I found it to be a TON of room, both on the concourse and in our seats. IGF is just a spectacular facility and I can't wait to one day be a full time STH...
  7. Don't ever apologize. It is incredibly helpful to "write it all down" and get it out there. I have zero issues talking about this stuff and just hope it's helpful to others. When my depression and anxiety are at their worst, my sleep goes to **** and everything gets even worse. I was nearly suicidal once a couple of years ago, and thankfully got help. About 5 or 6 weeks ago, I fell into that hole again but thankfully not quite as deep. I knew I needed help, but wasn't AS bad. Still, it required a weeks stay in hospital to keep an eye on me and make sure we got things back on track. The reason I bring this up is because this message board (and a group chat on FB with my best friends) kept me going through some dark times. I'm so appreciative of all the people here (yes, even TBurg and TB4E...) and the conversations every day!!
  8. If there was any other news (that was from yesterday, btw) it would be here. Zach said his foot was fine...
  9. Completely without irony, they actually put a toilet seat on the top of their stadium........ incredible.
  10. this is a near-daily listen for me.....
  11. I swear, I had that exact thought for the first time about 20 minutes ago....... the greatest pain is usually made up for by the greatest joy. And I can think of nothing better than the championship at home.
  12. I don't expect Canada to win a single game, and if they can keep it under 5 against per game, that's a moral victory....
  13. Allowing Chad ******* Kelly to run down the field untouched on a "second and forever" leading to the go ahead TD will never leave my brain. Sickened to my very core. Just typing this makes me want to cry.
  14. shared this in another thread.... didn't realize this existed. Can't thank you enough for writing it. I suffer with depression, anxiety (and possibly some other stuff that they're not 100% sure about) and am having a really hard time with this loss. Like "death in the family" kinda grief. Most people think it's insane (it is, to a degree) but it's also really normal. "You're not alone" and "it's okay to not be okay" are really important right now.
  15. wanted to take a moment to thank @Zach Schnitzerfor writing this piece. I, too, suffer from various mental illness, including depression and anxiety..... and "You're not alone" is a key phrase for people like us. I care more about this team, and (especially living in AB) my identity is so entangled with the team, that this championship loss has caused me a lot of grief. Like a death in the family kind of grief. But, as Zach says here: It's normal and we're not alone.
  16. You'd rather have him than a healthy Kyrie Wilson??
  17. “We’ll take some time to evaluate, but I’d love to be back here,” said Demski, who posted career-best numbers with 64 receptions for 772 yards and 10 TDs in just 13 games. “I’ll take some time to evaluate everything and see where it goes. “There’s a huge list of why I’d want to come back. At the end of the day, you just never know in this league; the CFL, it’s a nine-team league, everybody talks so I’ll sit back and evaluate and see what happens.”
  18. he's arguably the best receiver in the game.... every team needs him.
  19. that's definitely possible, but he's loyal as ****.... I'd be curious what the exit interview with Buck is like.
  20. saying we don't need Lawler back is asinine. Also, I would be SHOCKED if Sheed wasn't back next year.
  21. at some point, Cam Lawson will take Jake's spot....
  22. ooof....
  23. I'm already sick and tired of hearing about the Argos winning and the Bombers losing. I am in dire need of some good news. Let's get some coaching/management/player contract signing news going.......
