They need someone who can get off the line and beat the tackle off the edge when the situation calls for it, like 2nd and long.
Jefferson is going to do his thing with his eyes trying to read passing lanes and close those out. He's not really rushing most of the time. Get a guy opposite him who can speed rush, bend the edge, duck under an OT. Not just a pusher who is going to sit on OT shoulder and look into backfield.
But schematically it seems that's their tactic, more about coverage than rushing with 4 down lineman. Send some different pressures, drop out 9 a lot too. Keep QB off balance.
