  1. Run that same max protect look with the 3 guys to the boundary and Grant to the field but have the guys in the boundary all run down field routes, a corner and a couple posts.
  2. Will never understand why teams like Montreal and Calgary get going with the run against us then go completely away from it at midfield.
  3. I like the look helmet to cleats, but don't think I'd buy one to wear myself since I'm not going to wander around in football pants. Proulx. Bighill wins the toss again.
  4. Stern will be right 5-6 times most seasons.
  5. Yeah more of a Nealon Greene of the modern era.
  6. He's already way too hurt to even play that way. Not going to get any better in the fall.
  7. Yeah for sure. Plus injuries. Plus guy has some success and then thinks he needs to go toe-to-toe with the guys who can pass.
  8. Well if you have to defend the chance he might take off or hand it off that takes at least one probably two defenders out of the coverage equation on those plays so he had a far better chance to cut the field in half with 3 receivers and hit one of them in space.
  9. Yep…the Maas hiring and attempt to turn Fajardo into a guy who mostly sets up in the pocket and scrambles a bit from a guy who ran more RPO was his downfall.
  10. Those jerseys look a lot better as part of the uniform than they do on their own. Don't think they'll sell very well.
  11. You're discounting the ability of Craig Dickenson to give an inspirational speech to change his mind.
  12. Yeah I guess what I'm saying is someone more on the receiver side to backup Demski and Wolitarsky. To my mind when Alexander is ready to go I'd prefer he take McCrae off the roster. McCrae doesn't do anything on special teams but be the second KR guy, but I feel like they have him on because of his potential utility on O if someone goes down.
  13. Nah. Wolitarsky is huge when they go to max protect. Bailey and Agudosi are nice pieces but they are well down my list in terms of down after down guys that need to always be on the field. If all those guys are healthy you're basically rotating Bailey, Agudosi, maybe Ellingson and Schoen even to get them a few snaps off per game so they can go 110% when they are on the field, but basically Bailey/Agudosi would be a platoon for me with Wolitarsky, Ellingson, Demski, Schoen being out there most plays.
  14. Think Agudosi being back will be a 2023 question. But if we had Agudosi back or wanted to beef up the receiving core with Harrison over McCrae that's an easy swap in. Use the extra import receiver as a DI. I would like to see the Bombers bring in either a Canadian back or receiver who could contribute to backup Demski/Wolitarsky/Oliviera
  15. I'm glad he played well enough in 19 to convince Sask to give up Collaros.
  16. Great article on Wolitarsky in the Free Press today.
  17. Yeah if he was ready it's an easy swap in for Parker. We'd still be starting 8 NI's even if he slides in front of Hallett on the chart.
  18. That's a nice depth chart even with some great players on the injured list. No holes there. I'd like to see a bit of Brian Cole on D. Looks fast af on special teams. Bet he could play some safety/rover role on 2nd down and come downhill at some receivers with punishment.
  19. Where's Gary Crowton these days? Maybe Lapo can bring him in to call some plays for the Redblacks.
  20. They think he's Lyle Alzado but he's not a good player and they aren't winning.
  21. NFL now is just pass rush vs pass blocking, then who has the better QB. I don't think MOS brings a lot of value there. I guess the template for him would be Ron Rivera. Maybe Staley. But 90% of the next big thing coaches are supposed QB whisperers.
  22. Nice bubble screen with two lead blocks.
  23. There's a bit of a cautionary tale there though with the success the first time through the league not continuing when there was a bit more of a tailored plan available on how to challenge the QB's strengths.
  24. I'm hoping he turns it around so Pinball isn't giving O'Shea a call in December.
