  1. Why even risk losing your challenge on a play that short?
  2. Throw sure...can he pass? Nice to come in once and awhile to make a toss on a one-read gadget play.
  3. He got beat straight up in man and dove. It was a pitch and catch because he lost his leverage right at the receivers break.
  4. No chance. He doesn't have any pocket presence and is visibly uncomfortable in there. He could have the best OL in the league at every position and he'd get sacked 5 times a game. He's a RPO guy all the way. That's how he's a decent pro QB. Since Maas has put him almost exclusively in the pocket they've been awful in terms of scoring vs turnovers/sacks.
  5. The play that just happened?
  6. Vedvik can't adjust to wind. Still hoofing it a mile in the air.
  7. We should be able to replace Wilcots fairly easily though. TBH I’m not sure why Hamilton would have wanted him rather than a pick.
  8. The CFL simulation is just PF-PA and giving more weight to the latest weeks dropping weight from earlier in the season each week.
  9. Durant was in Sask with Barrett’s regime then with Ken Miller as playcaller. Lapo chose Crandell and Bishop over him in 08. Khari was already league MOP before Lapo was here. Lapo made that team worse and had basically all the playmakers injured by playoffs both years. Lapo has developed no one. Look at Buck’s BC stats…he didn’t have his best years here…he was 14 TDs to 18 picks in 2011. Only guy who had a career year here under Lapo as head coach was Jyles.
  10. Name one reasonable starting QB that Lapolice developed as a play caller and/or head coach. The answer is none. And his entire tenure as a head coach he's needed one. That's why he's terrible. Great offensive coaches develop quarterbacks. Lapolice makes excuses and kicks field goals when he's down 3 TD's in the 3rd quarter.
  11. You’re probably confusing him with Harrison.
  12. Exactly my point. Weak mental gymnastics. If Buck Pierce was healthy all the way from 2010-2012 then Lapo would be a .600 career coach too eh. The guy developing Caleb Evans is Lapolice. The guy who developed Brink and Elliott was Lapolice. The guy is an offensive guru who can’t develop a QB.
  13. The “but Masoli” narrative for Ottawa/Lapo is some weak mental gymnastics. When Masoli was injured they were about to go 0-4 in the midst of the 0-6 start. Masoli didn’t win a single game for Ottawa. Nothing to show us their record would be any different with Masoli.
  14. Fajardo and Dickenson are both just weak people in leadership spots. Fajardo should be so busy with his family and football that he doesn’t even know there’s outside noise.
  15. BC calling QB run plays with a fragile 3rd QB and a 3 TD lead….tempting fate again.
  16. Has to be said…our special teams cover and return are awful right now to the point of being liabilities. In a game against a reasonable opponent we need to be far better. In this game returns are Sask’s only hope of scoring.
  17. Not so worried about the DBs there’s no one else really. But look at how thin our O is…if we’re going to dress guys just to chase kicks maybe one of them can be a receiver?
  18. We rostered 3 Americans on D last week who didn't even play a snap. If this guy could play 5 snaps on our 2nd and 20 package he'd be an improvement.
  19. This roster has more issues with having quality Americans to start with than needing to move the ratio around to get them on the field. We had 3 DI’s on D last week who didn’t even play a down on D
  20. Arbuckle was the Argos QB who beat us in 2021. The Argos right now are DOMINANT on D and not a team I would want to face in the playoffs. Especially their pass rush and secondary. Their offense on its own struggles to put up 20 points.
  21. One of the American tackles would be getting reps with the 1’s if Bryant is out. Gray gets the reps if Bryant can play but can’t practice because he’s next up at LT if Bryant goes down in game.
  22. Yeah for 29 points over 2 games. Hence the losing. He was a great OC with a historically great D and special teams, which is what he had the entire time of his third stint here. Hall's D set records for turnovers, we had Medlock with historical seasons and playoff runs. We weren't scoring many TD's on O. The best thing Lapo did here was realize that Streveler was a guy who needed a role on O.
  23. How are we going to know if Dolegala served his suspension or not? Seems like he's been serving a one-game suspension all year.
  24. Wonder if any of the media can tells us if Cooper is a DB or DE? He's been listed as both and played both in NCAA. Either way didn't take a defensive rep last week with all the guys down pre and during the game.
