  1. My theory is that now that Titus Wall is back from injury and they added Rodney Randle + Demerio, kept Tre Roberson etc that Griffin was the odd man out there. He might have seen the writing on the wall and asked for his release even
  2. Looks like he started games at safety, dime and field halfback based on their depth charts. And did so as a rookie. That's a solid add at this point in camp to kick the tires on and see if he can help the team out in some way
  3. They both played at South Dakota though... which is where Tre Thomas also spent most of his career Bombers do not have any players from South Dakota State at this time
  4. Looks like Ottawa signed the cut RB Ronnie Brown
  5. It's definitely Ronnie... When you look at his Shepherd football bio where it lists parents, it only lists his mother, meaning his dad is out of the picture one way or another
  6. HAHAHAHA I was thinking as I read his sad series of tweets that he seems destined to become an Elk. Will be poetic justice if that happens
  7. Looks like the Bombers let go of RB Ronnie Brown as one of their cuts they had to make today. And he is now tweeting about it towards Ed Tait?!?!?! What a joke. Makes me cringe for the player. Must be going through a lot mentally. Hope he gets the help he needs
  8. Haven't been using this forum for long, but find it remarkable how hard-headed and negative a few of the folks on here are...... Having an opinion and voicing it on a forum like this is exactly what it's for but some of what I see on here crosses the line from supporting the team to arrogance and name-calling. It's really really weird to me. Shouldn't the discussion on here be about which new young rookies are stepping up from the ones on here that have come to practices to watch so far? This is supposed to be a time for excitement not dumping on Redha Kramdi (who seems to be a decent player coming into his own). Don't want to ruffle any feathers in here but golly where's the positivity in what should be a hopeful time of the year!!!!!!!
  9. Probably 50/50 if Bennett is back in blue. I think you guys are a little down on him, understandably so. He was decent on special teams just gave the team nothing on defense
  10. Teams are only allowed to have two vets go on that injured list. Otherwise you are putting guys on the 6-game IL right now to open up spots and then they have to miss at least the first four games of the regular season.
  11. I think one thing to keep in mind with first cuts around the league is a lot of them are simply due to injuries I remember last year Tyrique McGhee was cut after rookie minicamp and here he is on the roster a year later competing for a starting spot. I'm willing to bet Anthony Bennett is just injured and the same for some other big names cut like Terry Godwin and Jalon Edwards-Cooper. Good chance all those guys are brought back once they heal up
  12. I think Tait said Kendall Randolph hasn't practiced due to injury, nothing about Kenny Randall who doesn't seem to have reported to camp
  13. Wasn't Dylan Moses like a big time Alabama guy who was supposed to be top draft pick a few years ago? Shocked to see that guy in the CFL wonder what happened
  14. I heard that Danny Mac still throws at the U.S. tryouts sometimes. And also helps Buck out with the QBs during camp? Awesome stuff
  15. For all the discussion about drafting a RB/FB hybrid, if we think of Mike Ike in the core special teams linebacker role (with an elite athletic profile for that and film to back that up) then it could be good value that he could fill that special teams role while also playing 10 snaps a game on offense Walters said Klercius is also going to be a special teams guy and bring a physical presence to the offense Those two + adding a big hog like Gabe Wallace and suddenly the Bombers invested big time in fortifying the physicality of an already really physically imposing offense while simultaneously boosting the special teams cover units
  16. Wow 5 OL out of 10 picks is honestly overkill but at the same time I love it
  17. This is incorrect, rookie minicamps all end by May 13 around the NFL
  18. Mike Ike is just a minicamp guy, that means he is not going to be in rookie camp but will be there when main camp opens. He will be on the team this year
  19. Ton of investment into developmental OL. I really like it. 4 OL picks is a ton with a lot of different swings
  20. I'm sure several players drafted will be in training camp and then return to school and be non-counters in 2025 camp. Happens every year
  21. I think Manu is high boom or bust potential for NFL. Not upset at the Bombers betting on the bust side of things at the end of the 5th round...
  22. Haba is a fast and can bend. He can get after the quarterback pretty well. I don't think he replaces Jeffcoat by himself though. Jeffcoat was such an all-around player and was the perfect guy opposite Willie. As we know Willie isn't the best defneding the run! I think they should rotate Haba with whichever rookie american looks the best of the camp guys. Could be Garbutt, Waggoner, the new guy Chauncey Rivers or someone not yet signed. As far as DT I don't think there will be much drop off from Ricky Walker to either Fox Woods or K Randall. I read somewhere that Randall had been starting for the last two years in USFL and played damn good there after we cut him so maybe he's the guy. The DL is gonna be a mystery but I don't think its in a bad spot
  23. But my question was how did he know Woods was on the negotiation list for a long time if it was never made public that he was even on it at all?
