Did you not watch Nichols this year? You realize at one point he was behind only Mike Reilly in deep plays right?

I dont understand this narrative. Do people forget how games went earlier this year? Nichols when he needs to/is able to can and will throw the ball deep.

I'll give Collaros the edge in escaping pressure and getting the ball out, but people acting like Nichols didnt throw it deep is just weird.

The anti Nichols bias in some it way to strong.  They don't see the facts or stats, they just don't like the way he plays.  Agree on the deep ball.  Agree on escapeability.

Richie Hall deserves some kudos... in hostile territory his D came up huge.  How many plays from inside the 10 and no TD's?  Unheard of.  Lapo got the win last week, Hall gets it this week....

The fire Hall crowd got a little quiet here LOL

    Nice to see.  Great coach.

a guy who has dropped that many passes in the playoffs isn't amazing even if he did get a couple big catches. Sorry to tell you that. You ever remember Milt dropping that many passes?

Adams is a complimentary receiver. good for a big play here and there but otherwise can't rely on the guy to make the clutch plays. He might make them, but you can't rely on it.

Unless you only watch the highlight reels, then yeah amazing!

You can't compare Milt to Adams.  That's where people get a little confused, he isn't a Hall of Fame name but our best and most reliable.  He is our only consistent deep threat.  He makes more plays then he doesn't.  Quotes at mid 60% catch and that's decent.  People want the big name, the top guy but the way our offense runs, he fit in just fine and will give us a great chance at the cup.  You have to come to term that he isn't a top guy but very darn good.  Can't all be Milts.  They are expensive LOL.

    Low bar.

Adams has killed several drives dropping passes in the playoffs. Yes we can celebrate his big plays, but the guy is inconsistent and I have said for a while if he's your best receiver you need help at the position. He'd be a great #3 option at receiver though.

Inconsistent right, I hate 1000 yard receivers???? Yes he isn't a a top receiver but you don't see that we have preformed very well by spreading the ball out.  If we would have signed a top receiver it would have hurt more than helped b/c they were too expensive.

Yes all players drop balls and he has done amazing as of late and we wouldn't be in the GC without him.

How is it not a good percentage? The difference between Adams and Bowman is literally less than 8 receptions made for every 100 pass attempts made. That's getting into pretty nitpicky territory, IMO.

Consider the fact Bowman had Reilly throwing to him in Edmonton, too.

The anti Adams crowd makes no sense when they criticize him.  Our best receiver and most potent weapon is well under appreciated by some.  I have always enjoyed Adams in his time here and he will shine bright on Sunday.  LETS GO BOMBERS!

Yep, in their last match-up the Cats were fairly effective shutting down Strev. and company.

    STREVELER, Chris  8/46  5.8 avg. 11 longest

    HARRIS, Andrew  10/37  3.7 avg. 19 longest

    AUGUSTINE, Johnny 1/9  9.0 avg. 9 longest

    DEMSKI, Nic 1/6  6.0 avg. 6 longest

Interesting numbers, I would take that from Strev but we need 100 from Demski / Harris combined to win.  Hope it's cold and nasty and we will put 200 on the ground! :)

I wonder which Bluebeliever was that picked Calgary to beat the bombers in the WSF? I would love to see us in our Blue Jersey's, but right now it doesn't really matter as long as we win.

I wonder how you did the pickem my friend?  How many point you got off picking the big blue?  I know I pick them in 80% of the time and they treated me very well.  And yes I stand by my pick as it was the most likely outcome.  I did the pickems to win / based on the most likely outcomes / favorites and it landed me in the top 3 I believe.  Full disclosure I picked WPG/HAM this week but I just started with the pickem here and look forward to them next year as I was really happy with how I did this year (weak ending though!).  I should have left the blue glasses on LOL.  This final game is too hard to call but if I went with how I picked them I would take the favorite, who are the CATS by a slight margin b/c of their offensive power (weather pending).

Interesting fact...in the last 6 quarters of play-off football this Winnipeg defense has not given up a TD...lets keep that rolling

interesting fact Hall and our D are amazing and patience has paid off my friends, but Hammy will still put up on 30 on us if the weather is good so we will need our O and STs to step it up

I wonder where the posters are that stated in the depths of our struggle this year that we would never win another game LOL
