  1. The Elks are dominating the 2016 offseason
  2. I had no idea Stanley Bryant is 36. That’s pretty incredible for him to be as dominant as he is. Someone mentioned Desjarlais as the next Brett Jones, but it’s possible he’s better. He’s got a nasty streak that works in the NFL.
  3. The Lions overpaid Lucky imo and that’ll up everyone’s price ever so slightly… Duke/Lawler will both command around the $200k mark me thinks. I really hope CF re-structures. He’s making way too much at the moment. No word on $ but I’d imagine the 125-150k neighborhood. He had a pretty down 2021 compared to his all star 2019 season, hope he rebounds.
  4. I don’t think he’d have near the success he had in Winnipeg elsewhere. He’s protected well, comfortable in the O… just my take
  5. Denver has signed Kongbo! I’m a Broncos fan and will be excited to see what he can do. Our pass rush was lacking this year.
  6. He and Nichols would both fit that category. Only other guy that comes to mind is Brandon Browner.
  7. Lenius has signed with the Falcons. I don’t assume he’ll stick much, but good for him none the less.
  8. Good for Alford… his story is pretty awesome. Wasn’t playing at all in 2020, lost all of his professional workouts. CFL all star, Grey Cup champion, and now in the NFL. Great for him!
  9. Desjarlais should be an essential lock for the NFL, just based on the fact that Shepley has started games this year at guard.
  10. This even made me laugh. Bravo.
  11. I’m hopeful for Ferland, but that’s about it.
  12. And, I may be biased, but I thought it was pretty well set up. All the team venues were in the same building, easy to get from one to another. Actually had a blast with the Bomber fans who migrated over to Riderville.
  13. I bet he gets an NFL look. Best guard in the CFL this season by a wide margin imo.
  14. Yup. He’s a pro, treat him like one. TSN had racing highlights on 40 minutes after the Grey Cup. They really do very little to grow our game.
  15. Another absolutely critical play that I think is going to go largely unnoticed is Lawler’s OPI that prevented an interception. Just massive.
  16. If you’re searching for an argument, you’re not going to get one.
  17. I’m talking about the kneel in the end zone, penalties, etc.
  18. Hamilton had chances to win, but made major errors. Errors that cost them a championship.
  19. Bo said it best. The CFL is back. That was a fantastic game, just what this league needed.
  20. If not for a fantastic play by Nichols, it was a game winning drive. I thought he’d go 3 and done. He came in and played well for sure.
  21. Saved the game winning TD to Acklin, caused the game winning interception.
  22. If I may: 1. Kyrie Wilson 2. Castillo 3. Stove HH Sheed.
  23. That’s the game right there. That and Deatrick Nichols with the game saving play.
  24. Winnipeg’s poise, experience, and coaching prevailed today.
