  1. I'd take Dinwiddie. He knows how to build a roster, unlike Osh. Hardrick whiffed his block. I'm no expert on OL play but another DL crossed his face inside so just what was the Guard supposed to do??? Just let his man go to help him? As Bill Bellichek used to say. "Do your job".
  2. I mean. Arbuckle still has brain farts like throwing picks at the worst possible times or fumbling when he needs to hang on to the football. Those things can be claned up. However, his performance this season has been an eye opener. He shredded the Lions D on Saturday. On track to throw for over 6,000 yards. The Rider fans that show up for the games at McMahon are for the most part, asshats. They were at their worst when Barrett & Shivers ran the Riders. Also when Miller was HC & they won the GC in 2013. When the team declined they all went into hiding. Now these douchebags are back crawling ou from under their tractors & combines.
  3. Looks like he lost 30 lbs. Will CFL teams throw open the bank vault for Arbuckle?? Really not his fault for the Argos being 3-8. You know how long it takes to drive from Calgary to Regina in a Combine? If Rider fans left right after the game, they'd be home on Wednesday.
  4. I'm talking about replacing defensive backs & receivers mid season. Occasionally, players like Demerio Houston or Ontaria Wilson come available. The NFL hangs on to more players than ever before with expanded practice rosters as well as the UFL now recruiting for next season, By CFL free agency, the UFL have their rosters set. With all the player movement in February, CFL teams can go after free agents that are available that are under contract now.
  5. We have more holes than swiss cheeses. It won't be solved this season by plugging holes with a bunch of rags. Our problems really started this season not signing vany impact free agents.
  6. I've seen this all before. Kyle Walters with the worst case of a GM tearing a team apart since Earl Lunsford crushed the 1972 Western Conference Champion Blue Bombers to punish Mack Herron & Jim Thorpe for simple weed possession charges by releasing them. Both were fined with no criminal records. A deep threat one thousand yard plus receiver & the league's leading rusher from thje previous year both gone in 1973 with the snap of his fingers. Over 2500 yards of offense vanished. The CFL's leading passer Don Jonas struggled the following season because the receiving core became a bunch of slugs. It took years for the Bomber organization to recover. Fast forward ahead half a century... with the Grey Cup being played here this season, we still don't know the team's motives as to why this off season was the way it was. Did Miller direct Walters to not spend any money on players?
  7. Which is why if we miss the playoffs or fall in the standings it's time for a change after 12 seasons. Walters has gone stale. You make a change in the off season. We still have 8 games to play.
  8. Interesting take. I had a bicycle injury when I was 8 years old where I fell off my bike going as fast as I could when I was racing my friends in pur backlane, I fell knee first (in shorts) into a gravel driveway. I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance (a real old school ambulance - this was July 1963 ya know). I had surgery & was in a plaster cast from my foot to my waist. I was at the Children's Hospital for a week. I always had problems with that same left knee & leg afterwards growing up. I had road burns & scars all over my left knee, head, face, thigh & left elbow. I know I lost some of the skin off my left knee. That's the first time in all these years anyone has ever suggested that a prior trauma may have contributed to my later knee injury. Thanks, Booch as that would explain a lot. Like WTF????
  9. We should be able to replenish receivers. Wasn't that Keon Hatcher playing for the Als last night? Why couldn't we have picked him up? Dominique Rhymes, Steven Dunbar, & Kurleigh Gittens were all free agents this off season. Yet, here we are having our backup qb Chris Streveler still recovering from his serious knee injury out there running routes.
  10. No, I know lots of guys who were injured taking a shot to the knee. I injured mine when I was blocked. Right to the knee, I had all my weight on my left leg whn I was taken out. The same injury Schoen had. It was awful. I hope none of you ever experience it. Or what I went thru for the next 47 years. I feel for Dalton, I really do.
  11. Not anymore than any other receiver. I just thunk Schoen days as an impact receiver are over & trotting him out there is sad. We need to replenish our receiving corps this comng off season. Walters has done a terrible job with personnel decisions. Who they keep & sign. The receiver position has been totally devastated by him. Why have a $500,000 a year qb & spend no money on any deep threat receivers. We might as well have someone like Caleb Evans at qb. We're throwing money away from the salary cap playing Collaros with the guys we have now.
  12. Not like Schoen. He gets mugged like I've never seen a receiver experience before. He'll draw back into the lineup get beat up again & be out again.
  13. Yeah he played really well for a shell of a player that he is. You said that crap. I didn't. You think he asked for the receiving corps he has even before the injuries happened last night? That's on our idiot GM & not Collaros. I'm the first to criticize when Zach plays badly but he had the best game of the season & you're just talking ****. He deserves accolades & not a kick in the gonads.
  14. Here is the song in its entirety with the AI Sadie in a video.
  15. This is the way of the future. AI will make the music we listen to & record companies won't have royalty payments.
  16. That's TSN. Nothing wrong with LaPo. Guess they gave the weekend off to Forde. I don't get the time off these broadcasters get during the season. Bierness (thankfully) seems to be off every 2-3 weekends replaced by a much better host in Laura Diakun . Some analysts (like Muamba) are here for one game, gone for another & then back again for the third & fourth games of a weekend. Then off the next weekend. They signed up for this. They have November to May off to rest up. They all should be in studio.
  17. Jeezus, Collaros could go 50 for 50 for 714 yards & throw 10 TD passes in a game & there would still be fans like you saying he's still not good enough.. Like nothing he did last night was good enough for you. No, he's not the same qb he was 5 years ago. He's 36 years old. He hasn't thrown deep this year because other than Demski & occasionally Wheatfall, we have no consistent deep threat at receiver so he is forced to check down & take what the defense is giving him. The man deserves some credit when he plays well & he really did last night. What was he 27 of 31 for 263 yards with two starting receivers out with injuries???? He & Brady put the team on their backs & won that game. It was a gutsy performance by the Bombers after losing Sterns & Demski. They were dialed in as a team in a way we've seldom seen in a number of years. However, still give up too many big plays in our secondary. If I was Walters, I'd be bringing in some receivers & defensive backs for a look/see. Corcoran has got to go. Is he the best our scouting staff can come up with as a backup receiver??
  18. Why go back to 2015 as it has absolutely nothing to do with our team in 2025. I think the only holdover from that year is OL Pat Neufeld. I'd be interested to know the same stats from 2021 or 22.
  19. He has no speed without a knee brace. He'll be as quick as a Gallapagos tortoise with a brace on. Taylor Elgersma is a Canadian qb who played U Sports. He seems to be doing well in Green Bay pressing an American qb for the #3 spot.
  20. Best game of the year for our offense & especially Zach. Brady was spectacular & it just shows how stupid Hogan's been by not using him properly. I wonder if Walters tries to take a receiver off of a practice roster or makes a trade? Osh just can't rely on Schoen to come in & play the way he did in 2023. We give up too many big plays in our secondary & that is going to kill us.
  21. I see we're back to the No Quarterbacks worth drafting. How 2018 of the CFL Scouting Bureau for that.
  22. Is it bad luck or a guy who tried to make a play way outside of his athletic ability? Brown looks slow as molasses trying to evade the rush whenever he's flushed out of the pocket. Now, he's a walking injury. He doesn't do Bob Dyce any favours for his remaining enure as a head coach or help his team by constantly being injured. He seems to put himself into more trouble by trying to make a play with his legs rather than taking a sack. I'm thinking Brown just may not have the physical toughness to play at the pro level.
