Let’s see if the no pressure woes and inability to stop 2 and long continues
-
Wow. So bad.
-
Why do we keep rushing 3?
-
No, because he can’t say no to certain vets. And the man is 36 playing a very violent sport.
-
How can we never make two stops in a row?
-
Geez. Gonna need the D here
-
Hey!
-
Barf
-
Second and 10, right where they want us
-
Collaros… Geezuz. So f’en irritating. He just can’t seem to turn the corner
-
🤮 4 second down conversions… and second and 10 each time
-
Yeah, baby!
-
There’s no doubt his escapability is significant diminished from just a couple of years ago

Yeah, you may have a point… Except that they didn’t rule an incomplete pass on the original on field call. They ruled a complete pass. It definitely was not that. As you say, it slipped through the receiver’s hands. That much is clear in the video. As such, it was either an interception or an incomplete pass. So, if the bombers challenged the ruling of down by contact, I think the video review conclusively showed that the receiver never had possession of the ball. Hence the call on the field should’ve been overturned. Unless I am missing something? Which, unfortunately, does happen from time to time. 🙂

Yeah, ok. Watched a replay now (vs seeing it live). I was considering that very thing…does he have time to set his feet?…agree it would be tough. It would require a very quick decision, quick set, and then be prepared to take a hit. Still don’t think it’s impossible… BUT…I will say my earlier certainty took a blow after reviewing the video of the play. Maybe I should start there next time, eh? 😊

I don’t agree. I was sitting at the 30 yard line on the west side and had a perfect view of the play. There was absolutely time for Zach to get the ball out on a timing throw to the corner. He just did not look there. Not even a glance. That said, I am NOT disagreeing that the loss of the two offensive alignment lineman was a big deal and resulted in Z not having adequate time too often. But that was not the case on the play that I am referring to. And that has been a pattern with him too often this year. finally, let me add, Z was absolute 💰 on the final drive when he had to be. That was ZC at his very best and I couldn’t have been more thrilled. We just need to see more of awesome Zach instead of very mediocre, inconsistent Zach. the 6 touchdowns to 12 pics ratio, for example, has just got to improve. We are 11 games into the season and still struggling mightily to score touchdowns. We will not go anywhere if we we can’t get that part of the game turned around.

On the first pic Zach threw (where he “threw” to Brady), Lawler was 1-on-1 and ran a corner in end zone, wide open…but Z was locked in on Brady. Being at the game allows you to watch the play develop and my son and I both noticed this was constant with Zach: guys wide open but Z having tunnel vision locked in on a guy who’s covered, often in double coverage.

And what are those? Yeah, unfortunately I reluctantly have to agree with you there. Absolutely clutch on final drive. But also dropping stuff he caught routinely in previous years.
-
Darn it. Zach. Darn it. Wilson also ran a shitty route too. Can’t bubble outside, instead gotta push inside to keep leverage.

I like Kate’s spunk.
-
That wasn’t a hold by any typical standard… really too bad. Need to come away with more than 3 pts on two turnovers on their half of the field
-
Someone should look into the stats on that
-
Well, actually it’s not even one half in… 😊 but you may have a point!
-
Yeah… 60 yd FGs are great. But what we actually need is consistency under 50

Muamba is flat out weak. Adds very little to the panel.
