  1. I think Santos-Knox could solve more of our problems than Lawler, to be honest. Of course, that depends on what happens with Schoen.
  2. That's a polite way of saying you're going to have to give me so much money, you won't be able to afford Lawler.
  3. There's only one of him. It doesn't work that way. Every team needs a Stove, a Ward, a Lewis and a Stanback too. What we NEED is an interior D-lineman who can plug up the middle, get sacks and take the double-teams off the Jeff's. If signing Lawler gets in the way of that, then I'm ok with not having him.
  4. It has to be for the right price. We were 15-3 without him and 1 point short in the Grey Cup. We don't NEED him. We WANT him.
  5. You have to be willing to play a little bit of moneyball with budgets so tight. If Schoen does stick down South, then having Lawler back would be great. If Schoen is back, how much can you pay a guy (Lawler) to share the ball with other dynamic players knowing that money could be going to areas of greater need.
  6. Dalton Schoen: "I didn't come up here as a means to an end" (A way to get to the NFL) "It was more that I hadn't played a full season of football since 2019" https://www.tsn.ca/cfl/video/schoen-expected-to-pursue-nfl-opportunities-after-dominant-rookie-season~2567373
  7. According to 3DownNation, Agudosi is still under contract, so I hope we bring him back.

  13. He is definitely not a booming punter, but that's not what's being asked of him. His punt placement has been exceptional all year. Too bad that one punt went down the middle, but 10 yard shanks also happen. Haven't seen him shank a punt badly as far as I can remember. If the Bombers want to bring in competition for that spot, that's fine, but I think it's way too soon to send him packing without a better option in place. Kickers shouldn't be treated any differently than other positions/roles. Got to earn that spot in camp.
  14. I have been snowed on while camping on May long (in Manitoba). Have almost never had a nice May long weekend in 30+ years of camping.
  15. In a gate driven league, I'm sure the owners would not like to reduce the amount of games played.
  16. And the will and expertise to get even better.
  17. Here are your 30+ Bombers. Not a lot of players who are necessarily too old for their position. This team is full of veterans instead of "old guys". 18. I think we're still the favourite to win it all next year, so I don't think it will be that difficult to sign free agents from other teams. Don't think we'll need to rely on our own ex-players.
  19. Yet. We've parted ways too soon with other kickers who have gone on to solid careers.

  21. Anybody else hear about this? The Dumb I don’t know if this is an only in the CFL or only in Regina kind of moment, but it was something. 980 CJME Green Zone analyst Darrell Davis reported during the game the vehicle that was holding the Grey Cup outside of the stadium during the game was towed for illegal parking. https://3downnation.com/2022/11/21/the-good-the-bad-and-the-dumb-of-the-109th-grey-cup/
