Boy *San Fran isn’t what it used to be now. Kramdi was good last year but not last week. If he goes down or has to sub out things are gonna get messy. ugly roster management makes things multiplicatively worse when any thing goes wrong.

No one pushes for any more though. It’s chicken and the egg though the media that covers the bombers got lazy before the bombers got secretive.

Could really use some good reporting. They don’t have to say it’s this injury or that or super serious or not. Just let us know if they might be back sooner than 6 or not, what’s going on with lawler, if and when guys are getting close.

I’m sure that’s it. Dude is solid at worst. We have a really good secondary, on the ir. If Alford and ford came available it’d be really prudent to do what it takes to bring them back.

I sure hope not. Dyce deserves time. He’s still trying to clean up plops mess of a roster. With jones on the verge of getting canned too and maybe even coach O I can see a race to fire starting. That way front offices start their search early and get the best guy available. At least in theory. Bad for the league to have multiple in season firings though. Jones will be a net gain by getting him out.

If it wasn’t for jakes age and miles I would say dig up another ni dt and start him and Lawson dump walker all together. If we could find a reasonable rotational ni dt we could still make it work. We just really need to smarten up with the imp dt spot. Once that’s done and we are a bit healthier this front will be a monster. Just getting healthy is going to be like a making a couple massive pick ups. still miller Hansen rose Houston Parker and kyrie to come back. Maybe half way recovered from the ir bug to start the year. This D is gonna be excellent if we can get and stay healthy. I feel like the cfl has gone don Mathew’s with rosters. Far more guys moving around playing different positions on d. More getting the best players on the field than strict positional limits. We seem to be behind the times on that other than dl.

Once Hansen is healthy it’s going to be sick. Pr Bennett if we are really lucky get ford back to take his place and maruo hits the pr maybe machino gets a long awaited apple and road map.

True. He had some glimmers last year too. Having him and kyrie both on the ar would be great. Clements is pretty good on teams too. So having him focus more on teams and rotate would be great. Really Lawson should take the most reps at dt. Idk how walker is still around tbh. He’s the most mediocre imp dt we’ve had in aaggeess. With the three des dressed I wouldn’t be surprised to see use go 3 de with Lawson on the nose. Willy at dt then twisting is deadly. Jeffcoat and Habba are both bull rush loads too. yeah hope Parker is back soon.

Swaray still starting is worrisome. Listing Eli as a g and Dobson as a c is silly. Should’ve naturalized American’d jeffcoat and started haba but of course we aren’t doing that. Kramdi is listed as a starter and gtd over Darby. Also list Agudosi on the ar with mccrae. 8 WRs for 5 spots, with maybe no back up db or imp dt. I am excited to see Lawson and jeffcoat come back in on dl.

Our dl could be very good this week. Lbers will be fine and excellent once kyrie is healthy. Secondary, oof. If they don’t get healthy soon the air lifts will come fast.

I love stanback as a runner. He’s a beast. The way to beat him is in pass pro and when he runs routes. He has terrible hands and pass pro. Idk if he’s still the same guy he wasn’t that guy last year but who knows. the way to defend the run, which we actually did really well vs bc until the game was out of hand, is on the dl. If Lawson is healthy that’s huge. We need to see more of fox and less of walker, though we can use him to spell an end of jeffcoat isn’t on the roster.

That’s true. He didn’t live up. But neither did we. Half of tamans best moves may have been luck lol. can’t sign him fast enough! That said I’m always doubtful of us scooping useful fas from other teams mid season. If Kramdi is off probably his spot. Bennett if Jackson jeffcoat is back. That involves flipping a da but would be great. We could dress 7 ol and scratch one but I doubt it. Cadwallader would also be a candidate though not ideal. Bennett is a waste of space on the ar right now. I had hoped his athleticism and age would lead to better effort and production on teams. We could take maruo off too since we have one global.

Jackson? No he doesn’t lol. Low key chance of ba back to sam and an ni in at S. that said ba isn’t the same cover guy he used to be. It might be good for him long term to get him out of that sell out for hits mode. secondary will really depend on who is actually healthy could be ugly though

I like what he does in the run game. Tremendous blocker. They gotta find a dl spot for him or he has to perform like miller lite on cover team though.

I hear Richard karikari went from 78% to 87%. His signing of the napkin is imminent.

I suspect they will go back to using him on teams only if he is the extra wr. They don’t usually have the starting WRs play teams. mccrae didn’t get any pre season action. He may just be getting reps to get sharp. often big smooth players look like that. As if the game is easy on low effort. if he starts separating and using his reach he would be elite. But as is he is the guy who will come out for lawler. So he isn’t at all likely to hit 700 which would be close to his entire college and pro career yards combined. 29 year old rookie in his 3rd year here. This is his shot to make a career for him self.

Imo some of the biggest issues I’ve seen from him this year are separation or lack their of and crocodile catches. He isn’t being smart or sharp with his cuts or the concepts we are running. This is what makes schoen elite. And lawler too. They know when to burst when to cruise and how to play the game with dbs. I haven’t seen any of that from Agudosi. If we game plan and package specifically for him we can create opening but dbs figure this stuff out quick. He just doesn’t use his length to create extra cushion either. We waits too long for the ball to hit him in the numbers. He isn’t getting out and attacking the ball with his hands. this can change and improve. Bailey has had two rough starts to the season and bounced back in a big way both times. Agudosi just has to grind. That said idk how much more time he has left and at his age its tough to be that raw. Demski is a few months older than him. Woli and sheed are both a bit younger. Grant is a bit older. Lawler is a bit younger. (Grant Demski lawler sheed and Agudosi are all 29, woli is 28.)

Tc and pr scouting is dead in the cfl. But we still haven’t finalized all the roster moves with the pr.

Not at the rate it happens here. Especially not at positions we struggle at after with worse players. Yes it has lol. At the start of each of the last 3 seasons it has for between 4 and 6 weeks.

A poor man’s version. Every team has their version of Kenny lawler too. The paper work didn’t go through to the league till late last night. We still don’t know if they are trying to pr him or if lawler is back despite a lot of reports.

Doesn’t work like that often any more. The cap on front offices has crushed teams scouting each others pr and tc. No one actively plucks guys based on tc any more. It’s just not the cfl of 20 years ago sorry. how do you miss the point that machino is here and shouldn’t be? Lol. Cmon man. defensive ends. Our last 3 years haven’t been based on roster management. We had a great enough level of talent that it didn’t really matter. But we haven’t replaced that depth and have lost it. It matters much more now. Failure to realize and seize the next man up over old vets is what sinks franchises back to 3 win seasons. the terrible secondary, lack of use of fox etc was a factor in the loss. We also had 1 viable back up dl, no back up cover dbs, or WRs. the cuts and rosters are made by the coach not the gm. Doesn’t matter who you bring in, if they don’t get a chance. That’s the point. People lampooned the wr core talent here with lawler and Bailey Demski and woli. Lo and behold it wasn’t the problem people thought it was. You know how many rings and wins don matthews has? Better fire mos for him. The raptors just canned the only coach the had win them a tittle. And mos was getting close to the axe before the 19 win. No one is beyond questioning. Especially when they repeatedly make questionable decisions and bad rosters.

The coaching staff has turned around and cut the year previous guys frequently for rookies with no reps as well though. Mohammed is not a rookie and dbs don’t need a lot of time to get the system. preseason is the evaluation tool. Live action against other teams with full contact. You could argue the strength of camp years ago but in todays modern no tackle practices you can’t. Idk what you watched with salima to miss it. Again this isn’t a short listed. Fredrick at db cut for a green rookie then started for two other teams. Montgomery cut after being a force in pre season and one mid season appearance. Then we run through a couple other solid des last year only too cut them as well and deploy a human waste of a roster space we plucked from the ssk waste bin. How about this, Macleod bethel Thompson. Cut for Sean McGuire Dru brown on the active roster then cut for another rookie who was also cut and never saw camp.

Thomas was our best dl before the season he was cut for walker. Swaray over Mohammed. Mccrae over salima. Soo many guys over machino it’s not even funny. How many names you want? A hundred? How far back to do you want go? Lbers in the kuale hurl era? Des last year? Dynamic play makers are always valuable. Doesn’t matter if they fit the current dynamic or system. At qb, it’s only more valuable. The league has a bunch of turds still floating around most teams. It’s the job of coaches to develop those guys and put them in a position to develop. Sadly we fail at that frequently. michael vick isn’t waking in the door in the cfl and he wasn’t a great passer. Manning isn’t either. If fajardo can be made to float in this league pigrome can be a useful weapon.

Blink always had amazing drive with the pads on. I still think mos would cut blink. Soo many times over travelling on his own, late for film study, out partying right before games etc.
