  1. At best theyd need to match lulay, but im thinking they bump him up to back up $ with the window to renegotiate a contract in year 3 (next year) I dont see him going from minimum wage to starter $ this year even if he threatens not to report.
  2. Which also makes me wonder why hed agree to a 3 yr contract at minimum with only a 2k per year bump. What kind of wool was wally pulling over his eyes at the negotiation table
  3. I see it as a bad precedence if players start demanding more money after a good year despite the contracts they sign. You can be fired for under performing, but raises are not a promised thing for over performing in any job
  4. Oh i do think he's worth more, but you cant fault BC if they stuck to the 3 year contract they signed, honoring a contract is equally good business too. Im sure neither Jennings or BC thought he'd be the starter when they signed it, Jennings should have either asked for a pay increase claus in the event he became starter in those 3 years, or at least got a better negotiator. I think he'll get compensated in some way, but maybe it will still be a far cry from starter $ and BC has every right to play lowball. This might be why BC resigned Lulay just prior to FA as well
  5. Interesting, wonder if wally budges, this is all on jennings for not getting a proper rep. And I dont think no showing is gonna help. Maybe he goes to that new league too
  6. I just quickly watched a few that 80s show eps to remember why it flopped, lots of coke referencing in it. That 90s show could work bringing back the intro of the internet, fax machines, y2k hysteria, grunge, gangster rap white boys..ect lots of nostalgia
  7. i was seeing a few posts on FB, but nothing concrete about a possible that 70's show reunion. The show debuted in august of 1998 so it's 20 year anniversary is approaching. of the posts i saw there was quite a bit of ppl in favor of this. Is it too late to do a reunion? what decade would it be in? i remember that 80's show being a huge flop, even tho the cast of that 70's show had nothing to do with it. that 90's show?
  8. I fall into #2, ive gone on record saying I liked MoS's Krypton version and for the most part liked the movie, but the ending was a little meh. so if BvS can redeem that, sign me up
  9. Trump must be oh so worried to hear celebs like miley cyrus and raven symone, threatening to leave the country if hes elected. Maybe they will hold their breathe too while they're at it. What bs
  10. 6'6" 310lbs, he's very similar in size to Hardrick (6'6" 320), i can see those guys and Lawrence martin all in competition with each other for that final spot. Even tho the riders weren't too high on Hardrick, i'd have to figure his experience (as little as it was) might give him the edge
  11. I watched about half of trainwreck, but i had to go out and never got around to finishing it. it was alright from what i watched, I like that John Cena is taking different roles other then stuff like the marine and 12 rounds, like his spot role in sisters as well. I'm not really a fan of amy schumer tho, i think she thinks shes a lot hotter then she actually is
  12. of the 4 of them, i agree Kate McKinnon is the only one i find funny. Leslie Jones only ever plays an angry black lady on SNL, and wiigs best days are behind her and that was on SNL. though i didnt mind her in the movie Paul. Im absolutely no fan of McCarthy. I dont like Mike and Molly, and her movies like Tammy and spy kinda blew. If they were looking for a bigger set woman, id have gone with Jillian Bell (22 jump street, Idiotsitter) or her doppleganger Rebel Wilson this is by far one of the best SNL skits ive seen in a few years
  13. How do pronounce that name like mayonnaise?
  14. Is that ghostbusters supposed be like a continuation 30 years later? if so I hope they are like the daughters of the original cast in the story, otherwise why have the blatant Igor and Winston rip offs in there
  15. i cant quite remember the story of dancing with wolves, but i seen this shortly after avatar came out
  16. speaking of black actors, a guy i could see making some noise in the future is Anthony Mackie (Falcon in the avengers/captain america/ant-man, triple 9, papa doc in 8mile,tupac in notorious) I just watched him in triple 9, and watching the night before right now, the guy is getting very good at acting, i wont be surprised to see him getting more lead roles soon
  17. Thats the first time ive heard anything off chinese democracy, definitely seems like a fitting bond intro
  18. my guess is it wont even matter, team canada is stacked to the ****
  19. are they making a U23 world team too?
  20. whats with this team N. America? I thought there was just going to be like a U23 team or something like that
  21. I like a strong vocal performance. I thought die another day was generic dance poop that madonna was so keen on spit out around that time, like a 60 year old bar star, definitely didnt really follow suit with any other bond theme that i can think of where as Specter did. Would I say i liked it? not really my cup of tea, but I can see why it won or at least would be nominated. it was a pretty elegant song from a musical point of view just to show case lol
  22. I like it, good way to build some excitement before TC. Macho harris needs as much practice as he can get too
  23. I wonder if Harris will be there too catching some passes as im sure he'll be used that way aplenty
  24. guess he's not VIP there either
  25. I think i'll be going to catch a few then, excited to see the new weapons on offense
