Injury bug is spreading from the Riders current roster to even former players now dropping like flies. Seriously though its crappy to see. I'm not saying this because he is a Sask kid but its nice when our young Canadian products return healthy from NFL try outs to be able to resume career's here later on.

And as bad as it is to make fun of Pierce, Bomber fans have done it on rf too. There was a thread called "Who will be the next Broke Pierce" that was created after Durant was injured. Also not appropriate. The thread you are referring to was started by a Bomber fan IIRC.

I just get the sense that the game has moved on and Taman is in way over his head. Thank goodness we have the Walters (yes I am calling him that now). I hope he sticks around until he's 70. Two weeks ago the Riders were carrying 12 players on their PR, now they're carrying 13. Taman might be a nice guy but he's either bad at math or a poor administrator. Again. 2 are juniors that are exempt according to the rules. With Richardson gone either Wilson or Roosevelt will be up on the active roster. Transactions are filed with the league.

Ok good, I'm glad it worked out for you guys. We are also happy with our first round pick too. But don't assume Demski is pining to come back to the Bombers after you passed him up. And as far as the Regina jokes, the only difference between Regina and Winnipeg is Winnipeg is bigger.

Sorry but you have to address needs, and we needed Sukh Chungh, who is going to be a stud. I agree and don't agree. The draft is about filling needs but at times you just have to take a guy who is excellent regardless of the position he plays. Trades and free agent signing also fill needs. Bombers signed a couple of free agent lineman, they could have took demski in the draft. I'm not here to argue the point, all I'm saying is maybe Demski thinks he was one of those guys.

Not arguing you, but what makes you think that? Wouldn't there be a bit of a sting that the Bombers passed on him in the draft

Its a interesting move to say the least. I suspect age, salary, health are factors. Not to mention if we are throwing the season out the window, we might as well start looking at the youngsters

They made contract offers to try to keep him but Willy turned them down. As far as what I have read, no contract offer was ever made to Willy. He was not in our plans. I liked drew and wished things could have been different but it is what it is.

Not everyone was laughing at the Bombers, but definitely some were for sure. The worm has turned and its your turn to enjoy our misfortunes. I'm fine with it, bring it on. I remember watching the first half of the Banjo bowl in 2013 and me and a friend both could see that team going 1-17... they were 1-9 (or maybe 8 or 10, I don't remember) at the time... that team managed to squeak out 3 wins... so I could definitely see them winning at least 4 this year... If u are referring to the riders, they came into the banjo bowl in 2013 at 8-2. Maybe u meant 2011, think we only had 3 wins coming into banjo bowl that year.

Of course, yet ANOTHER instance .. ANOTHER hit against our QB that went unflagged during the normal course of the game but has earned punishment after the fact .. sometimes I wonder if certain CFL referees simply have their heads up their asses when they call a Bomber game. What did you think of the hit Glenn took before half time? Right under the chin with a helmet, was really wondering why that wasn't a call. The worst call/ non-call in the Bomber game IMO was the first interception by Brohm. One edm defending shielded the receiver away from the ball and the other caught it. If that isn't pass interference I don't know what is. Pathetic that the Esks get those calls. Later on O'Shea had to challenge to get the other interference call on another int by the Esks. Jones gets those calls the same way Buono and Mathews used to because they stand there and chew on the refs the whole game on the sidelines so the refs give them the calls. Quiet coaches like O"shea and Chamblin aren't getting the close calls because the refs know they won't biatch about it. IMHO

These are our practice roster jokes, you know jokes-in-training, where young jokes are developed into quality full roster Sask. jokes. Of course, it's no fair this year, as you are already providing full roster jokes on your own. We are trying to be good neighbors. Glad we can help out.
