  1. I didn't mean to sound rude, I read it after and it sounded worse than I intended. In any event I don't know anything about it. I have been banned and was sent a email that told me exactly why. I have been warned here more than once and received a email and was told exactly why.
  2. Up to now, often the Bombers have been ahead on scoreboard. I think that's a factor or theory anyway as to why they run less against them. I don't know the real inner workings of the line but Jefferson is on the other side this year than he was with the Riders, so Hughes and Jefferson both play on the wide side of the field this year. I would think a better matchup for Willie than the role he had with us always lining up against the Left tackle, traditionally one of the best linemen.
  3. Padded may not be fair, that implies it was on purpose, I should have said not accurate, his tackle numbers are not that high. 2017- 46 tackles, 8 sacks, 0 FF. 2018- 34 tackles, 10 sacks, 2 FF. 2019- 11 tackles, 8 sacks, 5 FF. Willie is on pace for a 3 year low in tackles, but a career high in sacks and forced fumbles. Hughes 2017- 40 tackles, 11 sacks, 1 FF. 2018- 35 tackles, 15 sacks, 3 FF. 2019- 30 tackles, 10 sacks, 4 FF. Hughes is on pace for a career high in all 3 categories.
  4. Who is saying that Jefferson isn't a good player? I just don't get the part where you have to hate Hughes to make Jefferson look better. If Willie puts up the numbers then he deserves his 215k I guess and will get considered for the award. Your Jefferson stats are not accurate that you have posted also, you have them a bit padded to make your argument stronger
  5. I agree with everything you have said. Now, will he fade this year, I don't know, he is getting older so its possible. Willie is heating up last couple games, will he keep it going? guess we will see.
  6. https://3downnation.com/2019/08/28/bombers-sign-qb-kevin-anderson/
  7. 30 tackles, 10 sacks and 4 forced fumbles, 11 tackles, 8 sacks and 5 forced fumbles. I'll let you guess whose numbers are whose. You can also guess who has played one less game than the other too. Loosen up the blue goggles, Hughes is having a good year. I see you guys signed a qb
  8. Greenwood is a Canadian and will go over 100 tackles. He will get serious consideration. Hughes has been very good and is the front runner at the mid way point with out question
  9. That wasn't him talking to his hands last week? Same guy. As I said fans perspective
  10. Its a fans perspective. Willie is a guy you don't like playing against. He is dam good. Classy quite often he isn't though, and I thought the banjo thing was in poor class last year. But who cares, he gets paid to make plays and he does. His numbers aren't even close to be considered for defensive player of the year.
  11. First of all the least I could do implies I owe you something which I don't. Secondly, pretty sure no one is scared of you or your posts
  12. Willie is a bit of a prancer, that's concerning. Funny what a year does. Last year he was a no class piece of garbage playing the banjo at the banjo bowl. I should bump that thread so we can all enjoy the comments about him and how no one here would want him and the Bombers have too much class to have him on team etc.. Thanks Simoni for your input about being professional
  13. I don't run the site, I have no say in who posts and who doesn't. Quick side note, you mentioned something about wife being not well, I really hope that goes well for you. Straight up man. My wife is my best friend and the absolute center of my world. I couldn't even imagine to pretend to know how that would feel.
  14. So basically the same as here? Especially from you. Anyone who disagrees with you is a idiot? I'll never understand why fans go read the other site and then talk about it on the other. Sign up and say your piece. I get venom here but I show up and take it. I don't hide from it.
  15. Its actually pathetic how far you go to take shots at the Riders. He failed the test a month and half ago
  16. Thigpen tested positive in November after our playoff game against Toronto so likely he was on it all year and was rolling the dice around piss tests on not getting caught. And when did I say Harris was dumb? If starting a cycle mid season is dumb, wouldn't it be more likely he has been on it the whole time? I have nothing else to add to the discussion other than the opinion I have stated so I will bow out and read comments and let others carry the discussion on from here. Safe travels to anyone coming out to Regina
  17. I said I didn't know about it and don't really care to. I guess if you are capable of getting past this elephant sized straw man you guys have going here and get back to the facts. Piss test is positive for banned substance. Booch definitely knows his football even though we argue sometimes, its mostly because he is wrong and doesn't want to admit it. If he knows this much about this, we can probably make somewhat of a safe assumption that current players probably do too, or at least a fair few of them, couldn't we? Along that line, we can probably make a bit of a assumption that they should know better than to take anything without the team being on the up and up with it. I find it also funny that disagreeing around here equates to ignorance, stupidity. If you disagree then present you position on it and let the discussion continue on its way.
  18. OK, just curious. Because he only had a small amount of a banned substance its not as bad? The league should look at it differently because its Andrew Harris and not Marcus Thigpen? I get the urge to defend a player on your team, that's what we do sometimes as fans. I don't know the steroid world and frankly don't want to either. Its cheating and you know that. I get it that lots of players do it. Probably several Rider players doing it right now, how would I know. BUT, as a community owned team and massive supporter of minor football in the province, I fully expect my team to be out front of this from day one. The first statement from Chris Jones and the Riders was the team was disappointed with Marcus and would work closely with the league, bla bla bla, its sure as hell wasn't we know him so well and he would never do that. Every player says they don't know how it happened etc, that's how these things go every time. As far as the 10 days later test, well IMHO they suspected something otherwise they wouldn't have randomly out of no where came back and tested him 10 days later. Its sure looks like what ever they suspected was bang on too doesn't it? I am a big fan of Harris, I really am, but this looks bad no matter how it happened. I've always wondered why athletes have to be shoving pills in their mouth everyday just to play a game they are supposed to be good at to begin with. If I am a cfl coach today I am telling my players don't take a friggin thing that hasn't been cleared by the team doctor. Simple as that. Could have been a accident but it doesn't matter, piss tests don't lie. In my job I have been involved in a more than I can count. I have never failed one ever, I don't do drugs so it doesn't matter to me when it is. I know who will fail just by how mad they are that they are getting tested, or the classic they are picking on me defense.
  19. Thigpen stood up and took it like a man. Said he was sorry he let the team and the fans down. He is a shadow of his former self now and won't be in the league next year. There is no fountain of youth. People don't get stronger and put up better numbers when they get older, they just don't. Who expects the Bombers to cut Harris?? No one. Guys test positive numerous times every season in the league and stay with their team after wards. Don't make this about the Riders, has nothing to do with us. Much respect to those of you looking at this for what it is. I am a big fan of Harris, always have been. He cheated and got caught, simple as that. There is no mistake here, no sugar coating this
  20. Good for you man. That's a nice thing to do
  21. I was surprised how slow he was when he was in camp with us. Doesn't show quite as much heading straight up field in run blocking, but in pass protection he was and is a pylon
  22. He knows a lot about squirrels and humidity
