Madani was Bombers Communications/PR guy during Taman run there....super tight. Text regularly...not that it means anything, but just sayin'...
Why would Taman leak info about the offer for a player that was supposedly rejected knowing that a large portion of the fanbase can't stand the player in question? Sorry not buying it, Taman has nothing to gain by that.

They made an offer. You can rag on Madani all you want, but anyone who knows the history he has with Taman knows that he's likely getting this info straight from the front office.

You can call it what you want but it's already been pointed out to you that actions speak louder than words. They made an offer for Burris where they would have given up a first round pick and then some. That's a pretty loud action.
Do you honestly think Taman is dumb enough to leak info about an offer for a player that is despised by the fanbase? Cmon Mike you're smarter than that. Remember, Madani is also close with Desjardins, remember the Dressler $250K offer scoop?
Nevertheless Burris isn't coming & the Riders would not say Durants prognosis is good for a return if it wasn't.

So let me get this straight...the day after Taman's trade offer is rejected by the RBs Durant suddenly has an excellent chance of returning. Doesn't take a genius to figure out that the Riders are desperately trying to not give the impression that they are desperate. No one offers a 1st round pick and a roster player for a 40 year old QB rental unless their QB is out for the season. Don't really care what Chamblin, Durant, or Taman SAY right now. Actions speak louder than words and the ACTIONS say that Durant is toast for this year. I found it especially comical that the timeline for "Durant's return to throwing" is the week FOLLOWING the trade deadline.

No it's not. Cortez himself has said he is extremely stubborn.

Taj Smith hasn't been the same this season, hope he gets it turned around & comes back next year healthy, especially between the ears.

He obviously should have called the plays that the Esks couldn't stop! what a moran.Blame Cortez. The 'ol stand by when you're too proud to criticize Chamblin or Taman.
Cortez has been terrible lately. I would not be disappointed if he lost his job.
I wouldht say he's been terrible, justs awefully stubborn. He will come around & realize he can't run the regular offence with 2 newbies.

Sorry boys not good enough. It took nearly TWO full games to get one stinking TD. And yes, Drew missed the second half against B.C., cause we would have won that game if he stayed healthy wouldn't we - as Willy and the juggernaut offense under Willy in that first half put up THREE points. First half tonight -THREE points. That's not good enough. Period. I like Willy, he's a keeper, but enough of Grigsby, our run defense, and special teams.
Willy got all the glory on the 5 -1 start, he deserves the horns for being 1 - 6 since.
