Rider fan, yeah. Fanboy for sure. CFL fan, meh... But even Riderfans found him annoying. If Rider fans don't like him ya gotta wonder...In fairness to Migs I believe him when he says he's a fan because only a Rider fan could interpret Taman's extension of Durant on the injured list as proof he'll be returning for the playoffs.

But after listening the Chamblin tonight it sounds like Durant is only on the 6 game for SMS reasons and that he can still be pulled off & play in Game 18 & the playoffs. So the wager is still a go....A troll being banned is a good day on a fan forum. A GREAT day is when a troll leaves on his own because the membership beat him to a pulp. Congrats fellow MBB members!!

I didn't quit anything. Earlier today I thought I lost a bet to a wager that was previously offered to me & accepted. Turns out there is still a very good chance Durant will be back sooner than later. We shall see.Well, well, the BIG announcement by Migs he's quitting. Sad part Migs knows his football but chooses to be a dickhead rather than an informed fan who is able to engage other fanbases in meaningful discussion. It's always total bullshit. For example, the reason he says he's leaving. Losing a bet that Durant would have been back before the season was over. Now his reputation precedes him wherever he goes. He made his bed a long, long time ago. I wonder what made him turn rogue so much so that even Riderfans banned him??

Name calling is the ultimate loser thing to do, congrats on the accomplishment. And for the record, the only site I am banned from is Esksfans, that is a blessing. I don't post on Riderfans under the name Migs, mostly because of my previous issues with Roy Shivers. I currently use an alternate username. Pretty easy to figure out who I am on there.Such a loser. Has does a grown man, who puts his wife and children as his avatar no less, get himself banned from every site he visits?
Posting on these forums is fun, we get to talk football & build rivalries. I have no ill will towards any of you, it's unfortunate some take all of this so personal. Oh well.

World is crashing around me? Cripes man it's just football.Migs is leaving because he just had that AHA moment where he realized that all he was hearing was Rider koolaid and not the whole truth. His world is crashing in around him as he realizes that not all he has heard was fact based. Also, he is likely struggling as he is slowly coming to the realization that the Riders Grey Cup chances are largely beyond their own control. They are simply not a good enough team to play their best and win the game. They need to play their best and pray the other team simultaneously craps the bed to have any realistic chance.
It's a crappy feeling that he does not feel like discussing. Can't blame him for that really. Bomber fans know all about it. However, since he acted like a total troll while he was here I wish him a lot more of this soul crushing emptiness. I have a feeling this is just the start of the collapse in Riderville.
I'm curious why you think this is the start of a collapse in Riderville? We lost our marquee QB to injury. It happens. How did Edm do without Reilly this season? To proclaim a collapse of a franchise because of an injury is beyond goofy.

Actually you are dead wrong, you can see everythjng. And Chamblin confirmed to the media after practice that Durant was throwing today. Must've just been a wild guess on my part hey.
When I was younger, I used to go visit a cousin in Regina in the summer and he lived close to Taylor Field. (Everything in Regina is close to Taylor Field) and we used to sneak over to the stadium and peer through the fence while the team practices. Know what we saw? Nothing but the occasional glimpse of a player. From that vantage point you can literally see nothing. I call BS on Migs latest pipe dream here. The whole looking through the fence thing is just a giant backpedal because he got caught in an outright lie because he forgot practices are closed.

What makes you think they are rushing him back? Doctors are the ones saying this is the required time for healing & rehab for his specific injury. Do you honestly think the Riders would risk their franchise player by playing him before it's safe to do so?Let them rush back Durant in desperation. He's only their franchise player. Riders defence has actually been pretty good. 3 of the top 5 sack leaders are on the Riders, held Reilly & Esks offence to 17 points. Riders offence under KJ had more points than the Esks offence, what does that tell you that a 41 year old QB ourscores Reilly?On the cusp eh? so that to me means he should be back in a week or 2, he won't be tho. Durant if he comes back early, man oh man, it's gonna be ugly cuz he's gonna be hurt again. I wouldn't rush him back if i was the Riders but i'm not and i get the sense that they will rush him back and he will be hurt again and possibly hurt so badly that he misses a part of next season too.
Riders aren't a very good team tho, they really aren't. Your qb goes down, ok i get your offence starting to struggle but the D too? They have been awful, where has john chick been, that poll about the MOP in the west on the CFL site is a joke, where has chick been the last several weeks? invisible.
Like i said, i get if your qb goes down your offence is going to struggle, i get that but it's no excuse for your defense to suck as bad as the riders D have the last several weeks.
Riders are done and lucky they got their wins early in the year, if not they would probably be last place in the west. If one guy goes down and your entire team goes to crap, you aren't that good and i don't see that one guy returning making a huge difference.
Our special teams on the other hand has been aweful, if they don't get that cleaned up it'll be a short stint.

That's what many said last year during the Riders 4 game losing streak.I hope Durant does come back for the playoffs so that it can honestly be said they're middle of the pack wannabees. East or West this Rider team is going nowhere this year.

I remember the Riders being aweful at times last year as well, remember the Banjo Bowl? It's all about the playoffs, and I'm glad it looks like Durant will be back in time to get some snaps in Game #18 before the playoffs.He was retired because nobody wanted to pick him up. Riders got desperate. It's true. Honestly, don't care but fact is he was retired and the riders got desperate and convinced him to play again. It truly is the definition of a desperate team.
Lets just say Joseph did play well, he did ok at least.. put up Durant like numbers really..... team still lost? why? cuz maybe your offense isn't the problem, maybe your defense has gone to crap the last several weeks, can say Joseph played well, hell could say Durant could come back and play well, but if your D don't step up, It's over for the riders. THe d HAS been awful the last several weeks, not even an ok to decent performance by Joseph made a difference.

Extension on the 6 game IL means he doesn't have to abide by the no practice stipulation because he has already done that. He can be pulled off at any time and was only put on there for SMS reasons.
