GDT - Week 3 - The Champs @ Argos
55-7......will be how many bomber fans outnumber the Argos fans at BMO

Darvin
There were years that he did have a decent supporting cast, Stegall,Armstrong,Edwards, that's not too shabby. I believe they were all together for the 2007 season iirc.

I see the comparison but I'd take a prime Edwards over a prime Adams,or can't we just have both of them in their prime right now??!?!!

Week 3 Practice Notes & Discussions
I think we'll need more of an offensive output than last week vs Toronto for this week. Toronto has a very good offense and we could be screwed if our O isn't firing as Toronto showed their defense has teeth too.

Week 2 thoughts
-Reilly has the magic soccer spray on his elbow and makes the Lions look like they could be a threat -Alberta as a whole blows - Sask offense is good but they've yet to play a good defense -Collaros playing smart,Bomber D and Oline are second to none - Montreal looks like a GC threat -Ottawa off -Argos come down to earth real fast -Hamilton is a tire fire

Adam Bighill
We haven't had a linebacker like bighill since Barron Simpson. I can't recall anytime where bighills name was brought up for any wrong reasons, worth every penny.

Argos won't be able to practice until Thursday after these hits

That looked like a hyper from the behind video,I'm no doctor but you usually hold your breathe when they grab for that knee immediately

Can't blame that missed on him, Collaros only gave him the shot right at the last inches of the endzone.

It'll still sting coming up the middle though, should only last around 14 weeks.

Champs vs Argos
This could very well end up being the game of the week based on last week's results. I expect our D to dominate as Calgary showed last week that they are no where near us. Toronto has a great receiving core so our new guys better be hungry.28-13 Bombers

Ah yes, forgot the little thing called money. Any idea what he was asking? He showed very good promise but obviously not the number the bombers thought he was worth.

I know we've got good up and coming receivers but I still wish whitehead would've worked out here. It was pretty easy, only had to change 1 letter

Agreed. It would be good for the league if the Argos became relevant again so they can fill more of those seats at home.

You can tell there was tons of rust but lots of good new talent. Can't judge an entire season after this first week as no one knew what to expect at all but there are some observations; -Calgary may or may not be falling from grace -Who the hell knows what's going on with BC and their QB situation -Toronto looks to have taken big steps forward but we'll see if the old Argos show up or not. -Montreal....TBD -Hamilton should get back on their feet with some pieces returning soon. -Ottawa ain't gonna win much with under 100 yards passing -Edmonton could be a Jekyll or Hyde, who knows -Saskatchewan thinks they're all that after beating a rookie qb and a mediocre defense at best(can't wait for them to play us) -Bombers defense looks dominant and hasn't lost a step, Oliveira fit in just fine, Callaros needs a little tuning but was smart with passes and running for yards. Feel free to add anything
