I totally agree with you, you are right. I think there is more to it than that though- there is the double standard on both ends of the spectrum- the hypocrisy of the left as well as the that of the right and treating her solely as a victim or the right solely referring to her as a villain... the reality of the situation is that she is both.

What secret testimonies? CLose door sessions? which are standard for these proceedings (see: gowdy and Benghazi)? Protocol established by republicans during the last impeachment? Career public servants = operatives? WHat rules were "mysteriously changed"? I am curious of where you are getting your information, they seem to leave out a lot of important stuff. its not like that staffer came forward and accused Hill of inappropriate sexual conduct... it was a political operative using revenge porn offered up by a jilted abusive ex-husband. There is a huge difference here. The relationship was inappropriate due to the whole power structure of their professional lives- but it was a consensual relationship.

This is one of the reasons why I am happy they are not building that pipeline.
