  1. They’ve done that all year. It’s infuriating.
  2. Montreal not having a single penalty is absolutely ridiculous.
  3. Doesn’t matter how bad a PP we face; they’re going to score. Habs are dead last and it takes them 8 seconds to bury one. PK is a complete disaster.
  4. Yeah, I don’t see how that move is a game changer. At least Hendricks got spit out of the line blender.
  5. #NHLJets line rushes at practice Connor-Scheifele-Wheeler Ehlers-Hayes-Laine Tanev-Lowry-Little Perreault-Copp-Roslovic
  6. Maurice has got to start taking some heat, for this team under performing. Soft D zone play, passive PK that is 23rd in the league and inserting Hendricks into the lineup.... To play 5 minutes last night. WTF? Does anyone in the media ever ask about this stuff? Hopefully we can flip the playoff switch, because right now, it's not looking good. It was great to see Lowry's line show some offensive life, but did they end up being on the ice for a couple goals against? Maybe Maurice went to that well a bit too often? I was off campus last night, so it was hard to have my usual focus. It will be good to get Buff back on Saturday and hopefully bang the rust off him quickly.
  7. I'm certainly not down on Trouba, but he's lacking a bit on the PP. I'd really like to see Niku there. It won't happen, especially with Buff likely back soon, but I think he could bring an element of creativity.
  8. Ken Wiebe‏ @WiebeSunSports 33m33 minutes ago #NHLJets HC Paul Maurice said D Dustin Byfuglien (ankle) is progressing but won’t play vs #Isles and G Laurent Brossoit (lower body) won’t be ready to back up on Thursday either. Byfuglien didn’t rule out playing on Sat vs #Habs
  9. The PK has been a big problem for most of the year, but there doesn’t seem to be any urgency to adjust it.
  10. It needs to change, but I doubt it will. I honestly think we’re doing our opponents a favour with this lineup.
  11. Hard to win consistently when you only have 2 lines that can score.
  12. Hendricks is simply too slow. He’s constantly trailing the play.
  13. I know I’m biased, and it doesn’t matter at all, but did anyone see the play that won TSN’s highlight of the night? Connor was one of the finalists, for the goal where he undressed Subban, but they gave it to Kopitar with the ‘Forsberg’ move, in a shootout. That move happens once a week, these days, big deal. And in a shootout, is even less impressive. like I said, it doesn’t matter.... I just thought it was a lame selection. Pretty much any other play would have been a better pick.
  14. We should probably try to win the last 7 games anyway.
  15. Wow, what a fantastic game. Really dominant performance. Very enjoyable.
  16. Looks like the Schweelers line is reunited. And Hendricks is back in for Roslovic.
  17. I totally understand his reasoning, I just don't really agree with it. And if he really wanted to get Hendricks some ice time, last nights game was the time to do it... I get it. I just feel like taking Roslovic out was slowing us down to play against a slower opponent. It essentially gave us 2 checking lines. Not the end of the world, obviously, but I didn't like it. We'll see what Maurice does going forward. I really liked how that line was playing before the swap.
  18. I said my concern was Maurice would continue to play Hendricks and Roslovic would be stuck in the press box. Not that he is wasting away because of a single game. And my ass definitely wasn't bleeding.
  19. You beat me to it... That 4th line has been playing very well and developing chemistry... So break them up and play Hendricks?? They would be a tough matchup for LA. I agree, Hendricks slows us down.
