What has drew done in his time here? I think of drew Willey and think of andrew Ladd. At least Nichols through the ball, on 2nd and long he took a shot 45 yards down field. If it's picked off that's a punt anyway. Davis was in and then he was out. Bryan Bennett was clearly the #1 in terms of production granted this was preseason. He's dynamic but he is also young. But he might be the future. he threw the ball down field to receivers and they made plays. He threw the ball where only our guy could make a play. Defense has to watch him because he can run. Andrew harris running style is best in the shot gun. With a qb who can also run. This sets up the play action pass. The play action sets up the run. And once they think they have that figured out it sets up the screen game. Willy can't or won't do this. He's anot American drop back qb. The field is 65 yards wide. Why not use it.

This guy had been to 3 pro main camps and worked his way into the number 3 qb spot twice in B.C. To the extent that the lions offered Yantz a entry level contract just as they did with Andrew Harris. This guy has the ability to throw a 20 yard out on target from the opposite hash. The only knock the scouts can find is that he is canadian. If he was an American qb the conversations would be quite different. Yantz has played 3 down football his entire life as a qb. Broke records that have stood for 40 years and would have one of the strongest arms in the cfl why not draft him half the late round picks are passed on anyway.

Kent Austin made a BIG Mistake Letting Burris go without having developed Collaros into the system. The bombers did the same with Kevin Glenn a few years ago and that started the QB carousal in Winnipeg which we have only found one now. I think that might be the same in Steel town. Look at Kevin Glenn now the number 1 in BC and looking good. Burris is still one of the best in the league still as shown in the game yesterday.
