Former Blue Bomber Matt Pierce Passes Away

Sad news that former Blue Bomber fullback Matt Pierce has passed away. Tragic at such a young age. I remember Matt as a very good & tough football player. He was a multi sport athlete & later a coach. Matt went on to a teaching career after he retired from the Bombers. Rest In Peace Matt Pierce.

Sherrie, Tenley and Colburn - condolences on your husband and  dad.   Know that you'll always be part of the Bomber family.

Wow! Shocker. He touched a lot of lives and was a very special person. 48 is way too young. Great that he won a cup with the Bombers in 1990 although he was obviously a winner in life no matter what challenges he took on. My condolences to his family and everyone that knew him.

Matt was a real class guy, always upbeat and positive person on and off the field. Happy to have known him with the Bombers.

My condolences, waaaaaay too young ...

Definitely sad news. My condolences to his family.
