Stoudermire on offence?

@DarrinBauming: Dynamic defensive back/returner @_Stoudermire11 tells me he's excited to get back to playing offence again like he did in college. #Bombers

I don't see the connection between returning punts and kickoffs and playing RB, totally different skill sets and running situations.  Stoudermire is probably better suited to playing receiver if he can run good patterns but no .evidence yet that he can catch the ball as well as the 3 Intls. currently in those positions.

Agreed.  Especially if he doesn't have experience doing it at a high level.  Much like catching a punt, taking a handoff is a skill unto itself, especially with the zone read stuff where the QB may or may not be giving the RB the ball.

If they use him in the running game, it should be receiver sweeps, etc.

Two words: JET PACKAGE

Let's just hope Marcel doesn't do what he did with Woods last year and give him the ball whenever he comes in the game. Defenses figured that out in a hurry and rendered Woods useless on offence.

Another thing that rendered Woods useless - no blocking.

In limited action Stoudermire has really impressed me. Big, strong, fast, made big time moves at top speed.  Hope this guy turns out to be a big player for us.
