HardCoreBlue Posted 21 hours ago Report Posted 21 hours ago Great test today. Because of the authority I have over this team, I am making this game a defining moment in the direction we take this year. If we can beat this big dawg with authority, making the playoffs is a priority If we beat this big dawg in a close match I'd say see above but with tempered enthusiam If we lose to this big dawg in a close match ffs what do we do with this keep the tease and uncertainity going If we lose to this big dawg with authority, close up shop, call up the senior mens beer league bottom dwellers and call it a day captaincanuck12 1

BomberBall. Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago That was a very good team against a very sloppy team.  It was easy to see the difference.  One of the biggest examples was time and space.  Tampa gave us none and we gave them pretty much all they wanted.  How they defend their zone is such a huge contrast to how we defend ours.  Tampa stands up at the blue line, and the Jets retreat and allow easy entry.  And compare the 6 on 5 Tampa had on the delayed penalty, to the 6 on 5 the Jets had with the empty net…. Night and day.  Tampa was all over us, not giving us a chance to set up.  The Jets?  Shrink around the net and allow uncontested passes that eventually reach the slot for a goal, before the penalty can even be assessed. The talent level, and X’s and O’s, are one thing, but the lack of urgency and aggression is also really deflating. Piggy 1 1
Piggy 1 Posted 25 minutes ago Report Posted 25 minutes ago Its mind boggling how virtually the same team that took the Presidents Trophy a year ago ,can tank like this. Both Arnie and Chevy need to take hard looks in the mirror.Â
