I'll split the difference, Collaros isn't as bad as MBB makes him out to be, but he wasn't good either. Brown isn't as good as MBB makes him out to be, but he isn't bad either.

Hate to say it, but Collaros would have eaten a sack on that play

And to be clear I'm not trying to put blame on brown, but at the same time not going to credit him as why we made the playoffs. The team had a lot of problems

To play devil's advocate, we would already have been in if Brown could have won a single game as a starter earlier in the season

Presumably the roster is full. So you're adding two players, a replacement QB and a MLB. So if you're full you need to subtract two in order to add two

Yes you're paying for a replacement QB, but you're also in theory carrying one less roster player elsewhere. So you save back that extra QB cost elsewhere. Remove Durant and extra LB, add bighill and 3rd string QB.
