Of course. We all knew difficult days would be ahead. But nobody knew there would be enough fanatics (74M) who were willing to do almost anything, and a weak and corrupt GOP that threw roadblocks all over the place to Democracy. Trump was never going to go easy. Here we are, Jan 6, and he’s still inciting his muttons to do his bidding. It wasn’t easy, but it was absolutely necessary. There would be no USA today if Trump somehow managed to win. There still might not be. But with majority, Dems at least have a chance. Only a short month or so ago, could we have thought even that?

The very first step was getting rid of Trump. Tell me, what would happen if that hadn’t occurred...

All of what you speak is fixable. What wasn’t fixable was Trump. The Democrats and America rectified the biggest threat against Democracy. Americas biggest win, by far, was getting rid of the fake President Trump. Think about it. They were headed for disaster, pure and simple, but enough sane Americans said no, and so they have a chance. The hard part is over.
