What other candidates are out there? Howell?

Mike Riley will be in his mid to late 60's by then & probably retired. Sitting on a beach somewhere or in his home in Oregon enjoying life.
What? He wouldn't want to give that all up to come back to Winnipeg and face the idiot Winnipeg media on a daily basis? Who wouldn't want that? A chance to be grilled by the indomitable intellect of Paul Friesen every day? Sounds much better than a beach.
It's a sad but true statement about the media. Our media and their ... lack of general intellect has dissuaded a coach from coming here before and it will again. Guys like Friesen are not good for the city or the club.
I remember that. Which coach was that again?

I can't help but think Hamilton scoops up Collaros while Bomber management thinks they have him all wrapped up.

If I'm not mistake Keron Williams is the only defensive FA in BC, HOWEVER....Argos FA Pat Watkins is certainly familiar with Stubler and O'Shea. He would be a fantastic addition if possible.

From past experience, players that know Stubler's system that are FA's on other teams want to play under him again. So, if this is true & he is our DC I would expect there would be a lot of interest for free agents to sign here.
Who do you think we could snag? I'm sure there are some FA in Toronto that would love to play for O'Shea too. Just need the right OC now. I wonder if O'Shea/Stubler could convince Barron Miles to come here too. Mark Washington will probably be DC in BC now.

I'm a fan of O'Shea for HC, I believe he has the right leadership qualities to succeed at the position if he's surrounded with a competent staff.
If we DO hire O'Shea, our HC and GM will have been a ST coach within the last year. Maybe we can find some more special teams coaches to fill out the coaching staff.

Actually I'd be for bringing him back as the Special Teams Coach if we lose Dickenson.

Is there the possibility Barker could bring Murphy here in some capacity ? I believe they worked together in Calgary. I don't really care who is brought in.
This team is a joke right now and will remain a joke unless they start to bring people who know how to win. The BOD dropped the ball by hiring Mack and Lapo rather than Barker and Milanovich. The Argos turned things around once they hired Barker. I'd rather have an ...hole running the club and winning the than some media friendly, "says all the right things" type of guy who continues losing. The game is about winning and Barker has proven he can do the job. I am quite certain if Barker can do to the Bombers what he was able to do in Calgary and Toronto all you haters will be gushing over him.

Has there been any leaks lately about any players on the Bombers neg list? I keep hearing about other teams having some big names, but don't recall hearing any with regards to the Bombers. It would be nice to have something to look forward to even though there is little chance of them ever signing. Some hope to cling to at least.

Really??? All the successful Defenses do nothing but blitz. The Bomber are most successful when blitzing. Send six regularly, spy the RB and the secondary will look a whole lot better. That's why I feel it would be a significant upgrade brining in an assassin like LB ie;Kuale

I expect Drew Tate to be traded shortly after this deal becomes official. Collaros and Tate would be a nice tandem.
