  1. You're still being selective. So, what's the point of honouring a team over individuals??? It's the same thing on a different scale. What makes honouring the 1958 team different than honouring the 1959 team, for example? Or the 1961 team over 1962? How about the 1984 team over the 1990  team or vice versa? To me, it's no different. How you can say it is, well I disagree. If you honour the 1935 team for example, people will say that a team from another year would have been a better choice...The discussion would be the same. And on it goes.

  2. I will just say that I'm very jealous of all of you that get to go to this. What a cool, once-in-a-lifetime experience. We Albertans will surely be watc  SN with envy...

And we know that no new stadium is coming in Calgary.  The new Stamps Prez says that there's been absolutely no discussion about one... LIke, really??? Stamps fans aren't stupid. McMahon is pushing 60 years of age. They see the new ball parks being built or retrofitted as in BC, Hamilton, Ottawa, Saskabush & Winnipeg. McMahon is old... Attendance is starting to tank... Not a good situation at all here in Cow Town. They say season tickets are at 21,000. Five years ago it was over 30,000. The age & ammenities of the facitlity has 75% do with it. Fan apathy (Oh yeah, just another 12-6 season... how boring) is the other 25%.

  3. Yeah, keep this Access_Blue turd off here. A practice is a practice. Whether it's in full pads or a walk thru with no hitting at all. The guy is a full blown troll & shouldn't be welcome here at all. Funny how he just showed up when he did. He's their problem now.

  4. I don't think Brad Watters was a bad owner per se but he was underfunded. he didn't have the resources to run the team properly. I seem to remember he was a buddy of one of the former Commissioners so he convinced the BOG to grant Watters a franchise. Or something similar to that.

  5. I think BC is in that same boat at qb. Behind Lulay, could Joey Elliott lead that team if he had to?? I know there are fans here who feel he got the short end of the stick from Burke when released. I think Lulay drives that team. Just as Henry Burris, Ricky Ray, Darian Durant, Buck Pierce & AC drive their team. Calgary is fortunate to have Kevin Glenn who can pick up the pieces should Tate go down again.

  6. Just gonna say it's very difficult for Cameron to walk in his father's footsteps just because of who he is, how long he played for the Bombers & what he accomplished. He probably puts too much pressure on himself as a punter. Hopefully, he can just go out there on the practice field, relax & punt the snot out of the football. I used to punt...  If he justs works on his fundmentals with every punt & tries not to kill the football then he should be fine. It's probably 75% mental right now with the guy...
