Lapo is a concern for me with young QB's. He has a really poor track record of working with young ones. Durant is probably his best work, but even he was mid-career when Lapo took over as OC in Regina. At least we have Buck Pierce around too.

My guess is McCallister got an offer from another team and the Bombers let him go not having the roster spot on the 44 to keep him.

Edmonton is going to have trouble beating anyone but Ottawa left on their schedule with Harris and Maas at the controls. Even Ottawa they barely beat at home, would not be surprised if they finish the back nine 1-8 or 2-7, already 0-2.

We have a roster full of impact players, including receiver. The guys on offense aren't really given a shot to make much impact. Matthews was a bit of a dud with the drops, Lawler is making plays when he gets targets.

MBT cannot handle pressure at all. When the pocket was clean he moved around good and made good throws, when Hamilton ramped up the pass rush in the 2nd half he could barely complete a pass.

MBT just useless vs a decent pass rush.

With any QB. Make the reads and throws quicker and easier.

It's pretty close. Think his head is mostly up because he's getting rocked and self-preservation having a 300 lb DT full force. Rule needs tightening, it's a dangerous play, pretty blatant intent to injure, he's not getting that kick, the only purpose is to damage Rempel.

He should be watching their pass protection. And the guy they have taking most reps at tailback played DB in CIS and last season.

Hamilton running tons of max protect and quick game to get the ball out. Toronto's pass rush gone and haven't adjusted coverages. Hamilton's pass rush has picked up and MBT is hopeless without lots of time.

O'Shea is a pretty calm and collected guy but I'd be pretty afraid when he does see red. Both Dickenson's are weasels.

Yeah but when he's busting off that 19 yard QB sneak he's inflicting more punishment than he's taking. Agree with 1 and 2. The hits to worry about are the ones in the pocket and when he's looking to pass, that's when he's going to get injured.

It's really hard to open up space downfield when the D knows we have no screen game and when we don't use misdirection to be deceptive as to what the route combinations are going to be.

Lawler, Whitehead, Grant. He's got a hard-on for Demski who lets us down more than anything.

Wonder what Rempel's injury is. I think the league needs to tighten up that rule to say that no one can be lined up over the snapper on kicking plays, but I'm not sure that hit was illegal based on the rule as is, would be illegal at any other level of Canadian football, can't touch the snapper until he moves forward to cover the kick.

He didn't take much IMO, took a slide on one run even. Fajardo got hit a lot more and it's quite a bit different getting hit trying to throw vs getting hit running and primed for contact.

Nobody tries to pass from the pocket as much as the Bombers with either QB, and the Bombers have the worst passing offense in the league. Could be a coincidence, but I think the scheme is a problem.
