  1. Yeah, I mentioned in TC that I liked Karamoko. The problem was once we added a global kicker that only left one position for another global. As soon as Hansen returns that spot will be filled by him. If not for injuries we've had a LB, Karamoko could have been the other global on the AR instead of Maruo. OTOH I kind of like Maruo as well. I guess we'll see if we drop any global players once Hansen is re-inserted to the AR. We don't need 4 on the PR to cover 2 spots.
  2. I've been wondering why we've kept Machino on the PR for a 2nd year. I don't think he's a possible OT candidate and we have import PR players for that. Our Guard back ups are Canadians so that's covered. I think Karamoko is not a bad back up if you need a global player to add but he hasn't moved ahead of import starters at DB and we have 3 imports on our IR. When Hansen comes back from IR, that will bump Mauro to the PR. Then what? As mentioned our DL depth on the PR is near zero at the moment. Only Fox is there. It was not good in 2022 so I think it's fair to take exception about some of the roster management. Why are we keeping a 36 year old punter on the PR?
  3. Demski's fiance gave birth to a baby girl on Monday night. Congratulations.
  4. If Demski can play then Murphy would be the odd man out IMO.
  5. Rod Hill had 5 in one game. Not sure if anyone else had a pick that game. Makes you wonder why a QB would keep throwing in his direction?
  6. Nobody is asking for an airlift per se but our IR has grown recently. We could use a look see of a couple of ST types. Exume comes to mind as an ex-Bomber. Bombers did bring in Mohammed as depth when many of our DB's got nicked. So I can imagine we might see a few new faces next week depending on injury status. May need to replace Kramdi for a couple of games for example. 1 game IR may be longer than that.
  7. Jeffcoat was only on the 6 game IR for 2 weeks. So Lawrence may have an issue that is indeterminate and he could be back sooner as well. OTOH, Rose may be back before him since he was running but not practising last week. Musical chairs somewhat with our injuries and return dates not known by us posters. A few of them may be ready soon technically. Whether their injury status allows that IDK.
  8. I see Kramdi as " questionable " but didn't see or hear anything about going to IR? Also there was no mention of Darby not practising so I'd expect him to play.
  9. I wouldn't be opposed to bringing back Exume. The question would be where on the AR could we make room at the moment? Kelly is the rookie DB and he's playing teams. Noah Hallett might be back at some point. I suppose as far as the Canadians on the AR we haven't always had 5 Canadian OL active. Since Eli is back, that might make Dobson an added luxury on the AR. We could move him to the 1 game IR. A good ST player would have more activity on the AR than having 2 back up OL. Just a thought. Obviously that has an extra SMS cost and I wouldn't want to risk losing Dobson. Exume might be willing to accept a PR spot though.
  10. Just an FYI. The other site is back up.
  11. He was on the 1 game IR and likely gets added back to their AR this week? EDIT: Nope. It looks like he wasn't one of the roster updates today. He's still on the 1 game IR at the moment.
  12. Thanks for the change.
  13. Elks keep losing key players and we're seeing Jones make multiple roster changes every game. That's not a good formula for success and players are checking out. Redblacks seem to at least be trying harder but losing Masoli for so long hasn't helped.
  14. I post on OB as Blue In BC. For some reason I couldn't use my normal handle here. Regardless, it's good to be able to get some useful Bomber information while the other site is down. I would like to be able to correct my handle over here if possible?
  15. Every position in TC needs to have alternatives to balance the workloads and run drills. A QB needs needs receivers to throw to and DB's to cover them for example. Many RB's may be alternate choices for a returner or a DI spot in general. This biggest issue is injuries in TC and possible forced adjustments due to ratio. Nothing unusual here.
  16. It seems fairly clear that Lawrence has some level of injury and will not play this week. Hopefully it's not too serious and only a 1 game IR situation. Oliveria didn't practice much last week either but I suspect he'll play and this is just allowing healing time. Bighill doesn't need reps either and there has been no indication he'll be unavailable to play. I'm not exactly sure what the deal is with Agudosi on 2nd team reps or whether this means McCrae replaces him on the roster? Or are we just adding McCrae on the AR in place of Jackson now that we have Eli back as an extra TE / blocker? That would give us McCrae as a receiver / RB for sweeps instead of Grant although we don't do that too much anyway.
  17. True but at least it shows they were released and in theory moved to the PR on the transaction report. IIRC the PR maximum was increased from 12 to 13. That should account for Lawson and Eli returning to the AR. Houston will be added to the AR while Lawrence goes to 1 game IR. Or Daramy-Swaray gets bumped to PR. Jeffcoat probably bumps Jackson to PR. Ultimately there will be some further changes as the week progresses.
  18. I wish they'd update the roster at the same time as they move players to the PR. The flip side is that they didn't add in the returning players to the AR. Jeffcoat was on the 6 game IR so he has to be moved to the AR or onto the 1 game IR as an interim decision. We're assuming he'll play this week but neither the roster or transactions show that at the moment. Same thing for Houston. If Lawrence can't play he probably moves to 1 game IR but that may still be a wait and see situation. It's possible we might need to release someone from the PR in order to balance any additional moves.
  19. Yes we may see Eli and Lawson back as well. Getting Jeffcoat and Houston back are significant additions. A little too early to worry that Oliveria and Schoen didn't practice today. Both had practice time off last week to heal and showed up ready at game time.
  20. I'm thinking we practice today? If so the daily IR report might give us some clue to players that might be added to game day roster. Questions about Lawson and Houston might get further clarification even if their return is not this week. Somewhat we added another DB after signing Mohammed previously. OTOH, the player mix on the PR is curious at best IMO.
  21. When Eli and Lawson are healthy / ready, then Szott and Schmekel will move to the PR I suppose. Not sure if either will be practising this week but they've already been on the 1 game IR for 3 weeks. Have to question why they weren't placed on 6 game IR if unable to practice?? IIRC any number of 6 game IR players can be removed early and the SMS then counts against the CAP. So what is there to lose when a given player can't practice for an extended time? I haven't heard anything about those actually on the 6 game IR and realistic time frames for return. I don't get the Jackson situation as a DI either. Bigger roster and more imports might have made than more sense but not under current ratio rules. We need another DL in the rotation, NOW. I like Haba so far but the jury is out on Fox at the moment.
  22. Depending on the injury updates we're going to see some roster activity. We added Prukop and McGee and so far only Pigrome has been deleted. If we get some bodies back there could be additional shuffling from IR to AR and / or to PR. Did we drop anyone from the PR to get McGee back on that roster?
  23. That's not necessarily true. Many players spend time on the PR to learn the CFL and mature etc. If in fact they DON'T sign him to the PR then your argument could be correct. Even on the PR, there is no certainty that a given player survives and stays with the team.
  24. Not totally unexpected. I'd guess Pigrome will be moved to PR for development.
