The game, he WAS having a MOP-esque season before yesterday. Like I said if he bounces back good on him but we can't go a quarter without a first down or we will be toast. Give him three series then evaluate. Hopefully Davis has his helmet close by.

If he comes out and performs it should not be an issue. Another slow start and it should be Davis time before it gets out of hand.

Any word on the timeline for his return? He still had a his cast on during the Edmonton home game.

With 50 minutes of garbage time you would hope for these numbers, I agree it was his worst. That's why I hope the leash is short. Give him a few series and see if the hook is needed. A mobile QB would be great against the 3 man rush. Nichols could have had a picnic back there at times. That being said, the D is bad. Seems to be a bunch of nice character guys that are not that great at football.

This is a must win game, Matty Ice was a puddle when the bullets started flying. The so called leaders have to perform better, coaching has to improve, player personnel has to improve, game plans have to improve. Lots to do this week.

Nichols had been OK for us no question but some cracks have been starting to show.

Nichols had the deer in the headlights look before and after that play. The Sask D is fast and aggressive, he caved early and often. Now maybe our receivers sucked tonight, they seemed blanketed even on the balls they caught. Our kicker is good, running backs and o-line. Big question marks remain everywhere else and today's game has shown it. 7-3 is nice but 7-4 will be disasterous.
