  1. Jeez, starting RT for the Crimson Tide, says he has slow foot speed and projected to be a guard in the NFL. http://www.rotoworld.com/recent/cfb/134672/dominick-jackson
  2. HOT TAKE: Johnny Augustine 2019 Starter. 2019 Andrew Harris retires
  3. Justin Dunk said he thinks Marouf is better than Rupert Butcher. Dunk went to Guelph so he's watched him quite a bit.
  4. Hypothetically if Richie can't go, who would coach the defense? someone internally or would they bring somebody else in?
  5. yeah i see your point, I also think Nichols isn't the quarterback we really want to be throwing those long passes anyways. In Ottawa Burris throws to the wide side with a flick of his wrist. They probably would value that position a little more than our offence would i'm guessing.
  6. Thank you baby Jesus! I frequently see Evan Gill and he has hinted multiple times he could be considering signing with the Bombers at the end of his contract.
  7. they might not have the same vertical ability and probably can't make up for the difference in height.
  8. It sounds like he meant on his own team because he referenced Brett Ralph
  9. I apologize i don't have the interview on hand but it was a pre draft interview, he referenced Ed Tait's article about how the position only receives 3-4 targets a game, its the hardest throw to make, etc, etc.
  10. except in every interview Walters has made it clear he doesn't really value the position at all.
  11. he is a really interesting prospect, according to Dunk and Forde he had pretty poor quarterbacking at U of A and still seemed to produce on par with the top receivers of this draft. i would love to see him stick on the PR for a couple years and develop him. He could be a nice deep or screen threat if we give him some time I think.
  12. and if we have a return man thats 5'10 185 that boy better run fast.
  13. Personally i do like the pick, I just see him more of a receiver. He runs really nice routes and has some pretty nice hands, add a little more strength and he could be a solid prospect.
  14. i don't think so, Henry is fast but there are guys who will be cut this year in training camp who run a 4.4 40.
  15. I'm pretty sure Kohlert is better than JFG and he's not here anymore.
  16. which teach has decided that? BC and EDM each just took a CDN wr in the top 5 this year. I feel like we're the only ones thinking that way.
  17. agreed but i don't think that position should have been completely ignored when making the budget for the season.
  18. Anthony Parker, Nate Coehoorn, Ianuzzi, and not sure who plays the pos in Sask but ill tell you now they're all better than JFG.
  19. we traded 6th to the stamps for 8 and 34
  20. There are so many "if's" associated with the Riders draft "if" Judge doesn't work out in Houston he "might" be a starter "if" he can play safety "if" Auclair somehow come loose from the NFL he "might" come to the CFL "if" Meredith didn't actually retire from football and "if" he doesn't actually weigh 225 pounds he "might" be a good prospect on the OL
  21. regardless of how many targets i think they're looking at this wrong. Nobody is afraid of JFG on the wide side and can easily just put their weakest cb out there in man coverage. Teams will give us that all day. If you put a real threat out there teams have to respect it.
  22. Exactly, it's nice when you can draft a guy when hes raw and by the time he develops he's under contract or is too old to be on the NFL radar.
  23. agreed, which is why my concerns are more play to play not long term. having a rb who can come in and change the pace or even catch a ball out of the backfield could be huge.
  24. maybe he just made a sound that sounded like mcgough and just went with it.
