Ford and Dobson got way more than they should’ve. Ford was better than solid, and still has tons of potential. But at the end of the day a db especially a field corner just isn’t worth top dollar. We sure didn’t make any attempt to add top end talent to our roster or replace both end guys. We got as many cheap lotto ticket type free agents as possible, and they all went bust.

Some not so fun stats to this point of the year. The bombers have 3 tfl on the year. Bridges, jones, and kyrie each with 1. Our entire dl, has 1 sack. Our team total is 5. Moncrief alone has 4 tfl. Deontai Williams has 3. Chatfield has 5 sacks on his own. 10 players across the league have as many combined sacks and tfl as our team has tfl. 11 players would instantly lead us in tfl or sacks if acquired. I think every one involved gets 100% of the blame. No splitting it. For what we pay wj and vaughters they should be winning a couple battles a game and atleast generating a couple pressure on their own. Mos for dressing so few dl leaving us with few options, Jy for not doing better with what we have (especially Adams and Lawson). Walters for allowing this foolishness to continue. Handicapping our self with our roster doesn’t make us better, or more morale or more Canadian. It just makes us worse and arrogant about being bad. Garbutt, Habba, and fox have out performed our vets with their new teams.

yep. Those are classic easy run and catch plays. Fajardo was propped up on crossing routes and seam busters for years.

The real worry with the secondary is that we are completely lost on crossing routes unless they run at Nichols. We haven't been able to pick up crossers with the wil, mac, Parker, Kramdi, or Holm.

I'm gonna track his average depth of tackle and the depth of his stop vs the depth of anticipated gain. He is a good tackler, but I don't see him jumping in the gap and stopping plays for no gain. In each game, we see more reps for him and Kornelson, with no reason for this to transpire whatsoever. If I was lawson or adams I'd be waiting on my chance to hit FA.

Pass pro was really hit or miss. Randolph got whupped with speed a few times. He's still an upgrade in pass pro over lofton, and a side grade in run pro. Dobson was good, but he certainly hasn't lived up to the Desjarlais level of potential he possesses. I think Wallace is more reliable now than Dobson was last year. And with the out side shot at ending up a RT. Every one had bad plays on the OL. Bryant has dropped off a lot. Neuf was goofed on really bad on the play action play. Nearly become a butt tackle. Kola was baaad bad bad, as per usual. Peterson was really good as bradys replacement. Better than augustine was. But bradys ability to consistently churn out yards and hammer through for steady gains is critical to us. Should've been Austin Apodaca. We could'v kept brown, brought back strevy to back him up, and traded zach away for assets. Then used the 2-300k to sign 1-2 impact guys.

Zachs always had an inclination to throw hospital balls. With the diminishing arm and touch it’s only gotten worse. I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up seeing similar wr injuries to last year.

Run blocking to. Not much else. Like most here, gave up on it long ago. Mos always has some slippery none answer for any tough question.

I’m not gonna fault Walters because of hindsight. I agreed with the decision then and I think knowing what we knew then it was the right move. Lawler chased dollars on a bad team for a second time, after royally screwing up here and not living up to expectations or pay here. That said, we’d be much better off having over paid Lawler and let schoen walk. Maybe schoen isn’t 100% and have all the rust off. I hope he can get back to where he was. Right now he looks like post injuries Robert Gordon. And lawler is still a top end no1 wr. Roadhouse isn’t here right now, I hope he makes it back at some point.

Numbers aside, I don’t think the O, D, or kr team played well enough to win. That was a find any way to lose you can effort. The stamps coasted off early success because we let em too.

He’s thrown more pick 6s going back to last year than I’ve ever seen from a pro qb. Truly, it must be a record. How many attempts 15 yards or deeper though? We just kept taking the easy under and playing into Calgary’s D. We didn’t threaten to stretch the field in any direction. They should cancel leave for the bye week. Maybe you can’t put pads on em and make them hit, but you can make em run all practice. Send em back to boot camp. That effort is bad but the attitude about it is the real problem.

1 mos. Ugly game day roster again, coached with no urgency, poor execution. What’s worse, no one seemed to mind getting blown out. Too happy to be headed home for the bye. 2 Thomas, kornelson, wj and vaughters. The ends were gassed in the first quarter, Jake couldn’t even be in the way and kornelson pretty much the same. 3 zach / hogan. They had no idea what to do playing from behind, check down and screens short of the marker over and over again. Zach threw two scores to the wrong guys, but wasn’t as abysmal as last year still. crappy honker vaval fighting the ball all night. Honorable mentions, kyrie, Adams, Brady, clercius, the punter. dishonorable mentions, schoen, kola, Parker, bridges, Kramdi, bonds and Randolph.

You don’t win a lot of games in the cfl with your qb averaging 5-6 yards per pass. Padded stats throwing short of first downs. Offence was hot garbage too.
