I am all good at $260k I’ll worry about the 300k next year and see what it looks like compared to other contracts. Averages out to $280k/year. Ain’t that bad.

One thing to keep in mind when you see the crybaby fans from other teams talking about our cap space: Our GM (the best in the league) signed some big name guys using cap space from last year to free up more in 2023.

I have a feeling Hamilton is where he goes as well if he leaves. Montreal is definitely possible though.

I don’t think Bailey is going to the Gap. I think somewhere closer to home.

Fair- but if you look at the NFL it is more common. Also, Lawler honestly was the reason Edmonton even got close to being in games last year.

If Lawler is worth 333k/year then what is Scheon worth next year? He has played one year and put up a bigger season than KL ever did (stats wise).

But seriously- if we sign Lawler (and we have all been saying we would since about October if not last February) then:

Honestly, why would you like living there? Guys go for money and that’s it. Regardless of what they say, in the CFL the cap is low, so that is Regina’s only ability to compete with other places that can’t fit people under the cap.
