  1. If Kongbo did come back this year he’d probably weigh 20 lbs more than when he left
  2. His kicking was a big reason why the game was as close as it was. Awful in all phases. He is not the reason , but between field position and missed points- he was trash that day.
  3. Most our roster spots seem pretty set. Maybe we should just bring in 30 kickers and kick FGs all camp?
  4. Yeah it could be - weird logic m, because then May as well bring in 10. Only so many reps to go around. especially when you are eating spots on water bottle fetchers
  5. https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/handled-internally-blue-bombers-podcast/id1533831658?i=1000600221700 Kenny Lawler on the Pod
  6. These extra kickers we have to bring in are also spots we could be using in camp for the DL
  7. He was awesome here though. I was in Hamilton for the 2021 game, we don’t win without him. TV didn’t do it Justice how windy it was. I wish I had the confidence in him that you had, but right now I don’t in a playoff game. I don’t like having to cross my fingers every time we line up for an XP
  8. He got better last year, but you can’t tell me you had faith he was making that kick at the end, can you?! I think that thing was going wide but nobody knows for sure. Like Rene Paredes and Legz lining up for that kick are two different feels. Or Castillo
  9. I’m not saying we ditch Legs but this better be the year he takes the next step into elite
  10. I think Kramdi is already a solid replacement for Exume. We have a knack of finding depth here in the draft or undrafted guys. Not really interested in paying FA mark up for one. He made his choice, no hard feelings I like the guy, but moving on.
  11. Right. Are you able to share what criteria you use to record a pressure?
  12. Ouch. I am hoping the extra years of college ball made available after COVID leads to some younger guys heading North that may otherwise not have.
  13. We need better play from our DTs and we need health and depth on DE. I agree with all of that. Booch doesn’t realize the compliment he has just been given. RIP I can’t disagree with that.
  14. I can see the argument for McManis. But, like you mentioned, he isn’t an MLB. We do lack depth at LB I’d agree, but to say injuries (Bighill and Wilson’s) weren’t a valid reason is unfair. Wilson is a really good linebacker and him and Bighill probably do play interchangeably- Wilson is covering the deep third like Bighill does, and I don’t see any of the other guys you mentioned doing that either. I get the concern, he did miss some plays, one was arguably the most important one of the year (the Kelly scramble). People wanted to dump him after 2019 too and he won the DMOP the next year. You can call me an apologist, but he gets guys in the spots they are supposed to be better than anyone, and when he is healthy and not worrying about a SAM struggling in coverage and a WIL who isn’t elite getting to the sidelines, I think he will be better. I would love for us to uncover the next Bighill at camp.
  15. Still waiting to hear which MLB is actually better than Bighill in this league.
  16. Simoni Lawrence back to Hamilton. Guess we aren’t the only ones cheating the cap 🤯 Mike Jones to BC
  17. I agree that pressures are the better indicator, it just varies from one person to the next as to what a pressure is. Beating someone clean, sure we can usually pretty easily identify that. I think pressures may be a bit more nuanced to know what everybody’s duty on the play was. Or, if it is more simple- why isn’t it an official statistic? FYI- I think Orimolade is a good player trending upwards. So, don’t take this as a devaluation of his ability. How is he against the run? His tackle numbers seem solid enough.
