Pretty good chance they both are gone....Fro is for sure.
Stemp will probably re-sign if the Jets give him at least 3 years....I would offer him 2.8 m over 3 years.
Hali is gone and Slater probably is too.
Tlusty is gone and O'Dell will probably play for the moose.
I'm not sure if they offer Pardy a contract but I wouldn't.
Telegin looked like such a good prospect and then everything went to shite...

I am also unsure if Ehlers makes the team.... if I had to bet, I would bet against it.

Pairings in no order would be
Buff and Chiarot
Trouba and Stuart
Myers and Enstrom
and like I said, trade Burmi for a 3rd line winger.

They'll for sure sign Saad but I'm not too sure about Kruger.
They'd trade Bickell in a heartbeat if they had a chance.
You would think Sharp for sure because of his 5.9 cap hit for the next two years.
If they can trade Hossa, I wouldn't be surprised to see him go too.
Seabrook is a different situation. He is a 5.8 cap hit with only one year remaining on his deal. If he doesn't sign an extension, do you trade him? He'd look good in a Jets uni for the next 4-5 years.

Not sure how O'Dell got in there...supposed to be Copp.
D men are not in any order and if Buff isn't traded, one of the RHD will switch to the L side.
Still not sure if Ehlers makes the team... Burmi can fack off...didn't want to be a Jet and now does???? Trade him for a starting 3rd line winger, preferably a LW. Some of these russkies piss me off...

Great price, good player.
Morrisey would have to be REALLY good in TC to start with the big team... I think Chiarot is a better D-man than Stuart.
Who knows though, Enstrom and/or Stuart might not even be a Jet come TC.
Somewhat shocked by the Peluso signing but for that price, it is insurance against Thorbs getting hurt or the Jets needing muscle in a playoff series or something.

I would have loved to have seen him in a Jets jersey for the next 4-5 years but not at that price.

If Fro is playing 3rd line, that's way too much cash...would love to see him stay but not at that price.
He's a better two-way player than Staf but Staf probably plays more 1st/2nd line minutes than Fro.
I am guessing Fro walks.
I wonder who the Hawks are going to unload?

They are saying the hawks would trade Sharp for a 1st round pick....he has 2 more years on his deal with a 5.9 cap hit and 5.5 and 5 actual salary.
Anyone think he is worth it? I do but not to the Jets. Maybe Washington will bite?

The resaon is because you can almost rebuild your team in one season in the CFL but it takes 4+ in the NHL...you need patience and Winnipeg hockey fans are intelligent hockey fans.

Petan had a better junior career than Johnson, Stamkos hasn't done much in the playoffs but Ehlers screams sniper for sure.. Bishop? I dunno, he looks lost some games and very good some others. I'm not comparing them cuz that's insanity but Petan,Ehlers and Hellebuyck very well could be our stamkos johnson and bishop.
I'd trade all 3 even up for Stamkos.

I'd offer Matt Belesky 21m for 5 years and let Fro walk.
He was making a 1.35 cap hit last year and I don't think the Ducks will give him that kind of dough, (22m) but he is worth it.
I doubt Staf stays but would really like to see him sign here for the right cash... maybe 13m for 3 years or 16 for 4 years.
I think Stemp will re-sign but I think Tlusty is gonzo.
Would be scstatic to see the Jets make a deal with Deadmonton for Hall.
Clear some D and get a LW.

Ideally you have such good D men that Stu can't make the team.....I could name you a handfull of teams off of the top of my head he wouldn't start on.
The Jets will have more trouble making the playoffs next year than they did this year. The Stars and Avs won't tank next year....the Wild will probably not have the shitty start they had this season. You would thi nk that SJ amd LA will have better seasons too.

They trade one of their young first round forwards for help on D and/or goal. They aren't going to wait another season.

They would want a goalie on the roster with more than 40 games under his belt...
