  1. and Blake Wheeler.
  2. Kudos goes out to Pardy, Thorbs, Enstrom, Buff, Trouba, Ladd, Little, Hutch, and Copp for visiting the Children's Hospital earlier today. I know one little guy that was pretty happy to meet you guys and you made his day.
  3. I just posted on another site a few hours ago that I thought Lowry was brought up a half to a full year early. He should be starting his career this year.... It is very interesting who Maurice calls up.....I hope it is someone young like Armia or De Leo or Olsen. Draft and Develop means draft and "develop". Let them learn the trade on the farm. If they are ready at 18 or 19 or 20 then, by all means, bring them up but really, how many youngsters are ready for the bigs at 20? Where is this over ripening that Chevy was talking about? I'm totally okay with Lowry being sent down, too bad they can't send down Ehlers and Burmi too.
  4. I was thinking about this during a PP in tonight's game. Maurice didn't get to pick and choose his assistants, they were here when he was hired and only one of Noel's assistants was fired. Our special teams are some of the worst in the league. I'm not sure if you could find a replacement mid-season but I am sure you could find one this off season. Oh ya, I forgot, the Jets extended them this summer for 3 years. Vincent is in charge of the PP. Who is in charge of the PK? Huddy? Maurice? Both special teams suck. The Jets can't defend on the PK so they should try harder to stay out of the box. Scheif's line is starting to dominate. I would love to see Wheeler on that line instead of staf although I like Staf's game this year. Buff played a smart game. Why did Myers pinch on that last goal? The game is tied, you aren't down one? Bonehead move if you ask me and if it were Buff that had done it, people would be all over him. Helle looked a lot more human in the third. Of course Maurice could have picked his assistants, all coaches are able to do that. Thing is...he kept two...as it turns out maybe Vincent was a mistake...however if you don't have quick enough players playing on the PK it is very hard to be agressive. Playing Ladd is the perfect example of having someone not quick enough on the PK. Doesn't Stuart play the same side as Ladd on the PK???......not a lot of speed on that side. I can see why they play Ladd on the PP because he gets a lot of tip ins and goals from just a few feet in front of the net, plus he has a good shot but maybe it's time for someone else on the PK....I'd like to see Copp being groomed for a spot on the PK. I think he has the tools to be a good one. I also thi nk Scheif shold see more time on the PP. He is hot right now so why not take advantage of that on the PP. He has the smarts for it.
  5. I think Hutch will start too. b2b on Mon-Tue and I expect Helle will play first or both.
  6. I really don't see us making the playoffs to be hon est.....12 games in January and 10 are conference and 6 are divisional. We are 3-10 against our division. Plus, our last 20 or so games are in about 40 or so days.....if we make the playoffs it will take a miracle or miraculous goaltending.
  7. edit
  8. they were just re-signed to 3 year deals this past summer.
  9. They need to be WAY more aggressive....look at how aggressive the Hawks' PK is. I don'[t really blame any player for a PK goal unless it is a really bad play. I'd sooner blame the guy in the box. Anyone know who is responsible for the PK?
  10. Wheeler is our best player but Scheif sure is coming on isn't he?

  12. He sees too much time on the PK. Way too much. I realize we don't have any better LHD to play but that doesn't make him a better player, he is horrible.
  13. visit some other sites, you'll see 90% of the fans complaining about him.The epitome of what you want in a bottom 6 pairing? Gimme a break. This team is better with him NOT on the ice.
  14. If the rest of the team were p laying as well as Helle, we'd have this game in hand already. How many huge saves has he made already?
  15. My computer doesn't open part 1...does yours?
  16. The Jets play in a beer league?
  17. If they're in the slot? Dam rights I am yelling. I always wonder why a team always tries to get the puck to a guy in the slot and when the player gets it, he passes..... You do know that Stu is signed for two more years after tiso ne right? 2.625m per.
  18. No kidding, more than one hockey analyst was surprised by a few roster non-choices.
  19. http://kuklaskorner.com/hockey/comments/videos-life-as-an-nhl-owner part 2 of an interview with Chipman and TB's and Montreal's bosses/owners... If anyone knows where to watch part 1, can you post it?
  20. More good news for the Jets! http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2015/12/michigan_freshman_kyle_connor.html
  21. More good news for the Pens... http://www.tsn.ca/penguins-g-fleury-out-with-concussion-1.409607
  22. Stu is a liability every single time he is on the ice tho. I know how bad Chiarot has played this year but you would hope he would learn and get better....Stu isn't going to learn anything now at his age....he is what he is.
  23. Need some kind of veteran presence whether it be Pavs or not. I would keep Pavs one more year unless a really good deal come up to move him or move him in a package while getting a veteran goalie back that is not signed long term.
  24. You think they will go with Helle/Hutch or Helle and someone else? I wouldn' think Comrie would be ready for backup yet...
  25. The Hawks will be adding to their roster before the TD, you can bet on that.
