You know that feeling you got when Collaros took the knee in victory formatuon at the end of the 107th Grey Cup game? Remember that feeling? You are killing that feeling with each post like this. Every single angst filled "Nichols sucks" post you have posted since the 107 GC, chips away at that celebratory feeling that we get to share with ALL Bomber fans... Feeling of connectivity with fans between now and 29 years ago... All of that, you cheapen with every "Nichols is a ham n egger" equivalent comment that you make... take a break from the hate, revel in the ******* GREY CUP CHAMPIONS THAT IS US!!!!! At least give it a day for every year of the Drought. That is a small ask. Surely, if I can let go of most of my hate of all things riders- you can let up on a Bomber.

I feel everything is still up in the air for the West, except us and Calgary. I think we will Host next year and then Play in IG field West for the GC.

They Hosted the West final... I am going to say, none. As much as I was expecting them to fail completely with the ad hoc HC and loss of their starting QB on the third play of the regular season... they did a pretty (it kills me to say this) job this year.

I don't know... I would put their play-off run defense considerably higher than the swaggerville one... 14. 13 12 2tds. How many goal line and 3rd and 1 stops? They neutered 2 top performing high powered offenses...

Good for him- see it seems to have worked out so much better for Lapo, Lots of interest from lots of teams for HC position. If he would have been granted permission to talk to Sask that late in the season... No Grey Cup, no Grey cup winning OC for leverage, No cementing Legacy here in Winnipeg and worse than all that... possibly would have been HC of the riders...

I am good with that. He's totally earned another HC job. He's cemented his legacy here. I am good with what ever he chooses. I would welcome him back just as easily as I would wish him the best of luck and success (except against us) in his future endeavours.

Totally agree- but from all accounts and interactions I have heard/seen between MOS and others... it sure looks a lot like he will be signed to a long term deal. Also, a huge part of that (IMO) is the fact Winnipeg is a Football town. We care about our Bombers and are crazy passionate about them- I feel that is an important reason MOS re-signs with us. I can't imagine him coaching in Toronto...

I think sniffed it out and saw the fake, they just got pulled in a lot of different directions... Most of the motion went to the left and then they did a counter to the right and sealed off the right blocker. The fact that they only got a few yards and not a td was pretty impressive.

Nah it's a saying you'll see in success literature. It was attributed to Julius Caesar (or Cortez) when he arrived on an Island... found that his army was making arrangements to go back home... so he burnt the boats. Got 100% renewed focus from his men from that time on. Basically take away the safety nets, remove any excuse to turn away from the task at hand.... singular laser focus.

I don't understand how you can attribute that COMPLETE TEAM EFFORT win to just being on the back on 5 turnovers. We dominated in all facets of the game. Granted a good sized portion of that was defence, but all phases played really well. That was almost as complete a team effort as I have seen. Turn overs are huge, but we were able to capitalize on them using our Offense and our special teams were pinning them deep after a solid stop by D. The O would push as much forward as they could and Then the special teams would take o er again... it was like watching a big beautiful blue machine imposing it's will on them... Man that was awesome... Man I think after 29 years we can cut them some slack, enjoy this feeling of being UNDISPUTED champs, cuz that was a one sided ass kicking- at least a week. So let's all chill out and just keep watching highlights and clips of that dominant performance... Like Willie J doing his best superman impression to strip Evans of the ball.. Or the Thiadric Thunder clap where he uses a blocker to cudgel Williams on the return? And this instructional clip for the riders on how not to hit the crossbar.
