Posted April 23, 2015 Report Share Posted April 23, 2015 Bombers Add Three Thursday, April 23rd, 2015 WINNIPEG, MB., April 23, 2015 –The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announce today the club has signed International receiver Ja-Mes Logan, International kicker Anthony Santella and International defensive back Winston Wright. Logan (6-3, 190, Mississippi, October 1, 1989, in Houston, Texas) spent from 2010-2013 at Mississippi, redshirting in 2009. He played in 48 games, caught 136 passes for 1,734 yards and six touchdowns. Logan participated in the 2014 East-West Shrine game and worked out with New England. He attended the Bombers minicamp last weekend in Bradenton, Florida. Santella (6-2, 190, Illinois, March 6, 1988 in Wauconda, Illinois) played from 2007-2010 at Illinois, after redshirting at Utah in 2006. In 50 games he finished 4th all-time in school history, averaging 40.8 yards per punt on 244 kicks. He was named All Big-10 punter in 2010 as a senior. Following his collegiate football, Santella spent time with both Carolina and San Francisco of the NFL. Wright (5-10, 190, South Dakota State, March 16, 1991, in Lee`s Summit, Missouri) redshirted at Missouri before transferring to South Dakota State for the 2010 season. He played in 36 career games there, starting at 14 in his senior season of 2013. That season he tallied 52 tackles, one sack, four forced fumbles, and four interceptions.
