Jon Cornish Wins Lou Marsh Award as Canada's Best Athlete For 2013

Not only is this big news for Jon Cornish, it's big, big news for the CFL. It's the first time since 1969 (Russ Jackson) that a CFL player won this prestigious award. It means to me that sports journalists down east may be perceiving the CFL in a positive light & it is about time. I believe this is only the third time a CFL player has ever won this award. Congratulations to Jon Cornish.

    Defensive players get no respect!

    Congrats to Cornish!!  And thank god that the decision makers didn't pick another lamo figure skater!!...  that sport doesn't count...just like soccer doesn't count.

    He is just lucky I decided not to run this year.

    After reading the tsn comment section, it reaffirmed my view of Canada's inferiority complex.

     

     

    Congrats to Jon, IMO a well deserved award.
